@@mtbxc5241 got the bike last Saturday and I was anxious to try it so I brought my helmet and rode it home...it was a cold windy day in Truro on Saturday and all up hill lol....but it was great, very solid feeling ride, my son took it for a spin tonight and loves it!! Very happy with the purchase
Thanks for looking out buddy!! I'm not sure if it's the sound of my chain hitting the chain stay, or the front brake cable I noticed was rattling off my frame. Hopefully that will fix the rattle!! Thanks for the view!!
Great video, do you think that i should get this bike, specilized rockhoper sport, or the trek marlin 6. all 2021 models. i am a begginer and looking to get on to some trails.
Thanks for watching!! I would suggest going with this bike for sure. The frame has slightly better geometry for decending as well as xc trail riding. The forks are slightly better on the talon and marlin as you have the option to lock out suspension where needed. The Talon is the only one of the 3 that come with tubeless rim and tire setup if you chose to go that route for better performance. The hydraulic disc brakes are all from tektro with basically the same specs. Overall I would suggest the Talon!!
I am using the gopro hero 8 black. I'm shooting in 4k 24fps with superview and HyperSmooth. I have it mounted on the stuntman chest mount. I feel that chest mount is the most stable and comfortable to wear! Hope this helps!! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!!
I would personally say the talon 2 is better than the marlin 5. The talon 2 comes with better forks, better derailleurs, and some other overall higher end parts. The marlin 5 is more comparable to the Talon 3. Hope this helps!? Thank you for watching and commenting!
Yes you are correct, the 2020 model does have better grade forks and drive terrain! However, the 2021 is a bit cheaper and still a great entry level mountain bike if you cannot get the 2020 model!! nice video but something is rattling and moving around that shouldn’t be not sure if it’s normal or not but should check it out!

I can hear something is making a lot of sound in the ride. Do you know what is it?
Lack of a clutch I’m guessing. Chain noise would drive me crazy
its one of the cables inside of the frame. theres videos on how you can remove the rattling
It is the chain rubbing against the front derailleur. I did a little tune up and problem solved!! Thanks for watching!
