It's exactly because she didnt use colour that it came out so well. Junji Ito's work is simply meant to be in black and white. She still did a fantastic job, though!

The doll turned out beautiful but I must admit, you gave me a ton of mini heart attacks when you were using the X-Acto blade. I was like, “PLEASE DON’T CUT YOURSELF!!”😅
I love how creepy and spooky she looks! You also did an amazing job with the face, it’s almost as if she looks melancholic and sad, and I love all of the shadows, and the pencil texture to emulate a drawing!

My aunt bought me Uzumaki for my birthday 3 years ago. It was a book that scared me but, something about it made me want to read it over and over again.
I love how you made her look like she walked right off the pages of the manga! I would say that her eyeball looks a liiittle big compared to the drawn eye, I know it SHOULD look bigger without the eyelid but it seems slightly oversized to me. Other than that, I'm pretty much in awe. Amazing job here.

Junji Ito has always been my favorite author and artist and he was a big part of my life and was the man who made me fall in love with horror. How to tell a hobbyist from a craftsmen. A craftsmen always cuts towards themself with xacto blades, more control that way.
