Mike Silverman, Better Known as That 1 Guy, is an American musician and busker. He is known for his seven-foot-tall homemade instrument called the Magic Pipe and his humorous, ironic lyrics, such as "The moon is disgusting it's made out of cheese." His influences include Drum and Tuba, Tom Waits, Rush and Black Flag's "Jealous again," which he accidentally played on his turntable at half speed for 18 months. Source: wikipedia

Easily one of the coolest people who ever existed & he has one of the most awesome personalities, I love when he gets super into a show he's doing. I fell in love within the first 5 minutes of seeing him, when he opened for Buckethead several years ago & I'd never heard of him before. It was the greatest surprise ever & I'm just so thankful that I actually got to see him live, considering the entire experience is completely different if you're actually there, especially if you're right in front, literally. That night was terrible otherwise, and I actually ended up having to leave during the first 10 minutes of my hero playing (Buckethead) due to the horrible, fucked up crowd that should go fuck themselves and die. It sucked that it was a shitty night, but That One Guy's set made it all worth the hell. I love his style, his attitude, his sound & his facial expressions, he just is beyond awesome. Also, yes, Les Claypool collab with him would be epic, but you'd have to throw Buckethead in there, too, because they were already awesome together separately (Buckethead+Claypool or Buckethead+That One Guy) & I think it would be so epic it would make our eyes & ears bleed until we died.

Same experience here, fan for life ever since seeing him along side buckethead and he was still able to steal the spotlight which is amazing.... Seen him a couple times since, and hope to see many times more! Genius at work!

This reminds of Animusic when all the upright string instruments were on a track of some sort.

I honestly only heard of him after hearing "Buttmachine" on Weeds. I thought it was a cool song, and after watching the video, I knew I wanted to hear more and see more by this guy. I wish I had the chance to see him live (and will continue to look for him). Got to love his attitude. I so want to have a few shots with him.

Я всегда считал, что такие вещи - это просто "ЦИРК". Там тоже "играют" на разных железяках и т.п.

This guy lovingly reminds me of the "Coma-Doof Warrior" from Mad Max Fury Road. Rock on man. ruclips.net/video/1DcqnkzGEFQ/видео.html
