Though there are other factors that affect the length of life, for instance, we know that among African American males, there is a more prevalent chance of heard disease or heart attack. I suspect the reason for that in hindsight with everything that has been happening is that many of them do not like "greens", lettuce, or leafy vegetables. I think that somehow they have been affected in a way that would discourage this type of healthy eating. Anyway, this subject interests me because I would like to live as long as possible, and I can see the benefit of data collection and storage for this specific purpose, though we have a pretty good idea so far. I am a smoker, so that affects my health, I also drink alot of coffee, and probably intake too much sugar because of my coffee intake. The best thing for me to do is to minimize and eventually quit smoking, and also drink less coffee, and drink alot of water to preserve my liver. Those who die naturally, usually start their death with a failure of the liver, this failure causes a chain reaction of the failure of the rest of our internal organs. After that, we're done.
You can probably store about 300 years some scientist sustain, the problem is aging but if you didn't 300 years worth of episodic memory. Obviously you would want a back up later on and an upgrade.
Such an advance would be devastating to the world. If at any point in the near or not so near future human lifespan suddenly doubled then assuming that "suddenly everyone got this increase of lifespan" and that "births/deaths are at equilibrium (population size doesn't change)", then there would effectively not be any deaths from aging for the next 70 or so years, and after that the death rate would still be reduced as those who are born "now" are only in their 70s from their 150 year life span. This would effectively add another 3 or so generations of people on the world nearly doubling the population. We can't afford such a sudden increase on top of what is already happening. Even in developed countries a rule would have to be set in place for a limited number of children. Not to mention the economic toll. Assuming that increasing the lifespan doesn't grant the ability to be healthy and work again to the full potential, then there would be like 5 times as many elderly that need to be supported. Such demand for resources but not enough supply would result in a catastrophe. If anything, then the only people who should achieve such a milestone, should be those sent to Mars. If it's possible to populate Mars with humans, then a longer lifespan would be generally advantageous as there would be a less of a need to send "more" humans to Mars.
I believe everyone should have "free" longevity medicine but one of the biggest benefits will be scientists, doctors, and astronauts. you could travel to Pluto and return to earth no older than when you left and still have a full career, life, family here on earth.
Yes I believe that is true. I actually think life extension is going to be a necessity as we begin to explore space. Right now if we wanted to send a crew of people to Pluto and back, it would have to be a generational ship. Which would be cruel in some way to the people born on the ship as they would not return to earth till they where 40 or 50 years old.
I have been told by a physicist and a doctor they believe part of the cause of human and animal aging has to do with radiation exposure. The Earth's geomagnetic field and ozone layer cannot stop 100% of the cosmic and solar radiation hitting the Earth. Over time this radiation causes mutation and degeneration of cells in our body. Most of my family members lived till in their late 90s and a few past 100. After they got in to their late 90s things started to get very difficult for them. Lots of health issues. My background is in physics and electrical engineering. My knowledge of biology is limited. I found this video extremely interesting.
The other questions science and society need to ask themselves is, how will the laws keep up with the new realities? Would a 20-year-old me who happens to live to age 220, and still look like a 20-year-old, be frowned upon by society, or castigated for marrying a 20-year-old woman, who is 200 years my junior? Would society need to come out with new laws to answer those questions? How about is I decide to marry an 18-year-old woman? Would it still be ok? Let's make it fun, how about a 500-year-old me marrying an 18-year-old?
I know this is 2 years old, but I think it would be weird, because they would be like babies mentally in comparison. The goal is to be 200 years old, and get with someone who is also 200 years old, but you both look young and are healthy. So you can go on adventures, have fun, and yes, get kinky if you like XD
NAD+ is an important factor in aging and the development of age-related diseases in the role of a cofactor in redox reactions and a coenzyme in metabolic processes. It also has a decisive role in non-redox reactions, such as cellular signal transduction, when acting as a substrate for sirtuins and PARPs
I think we are designed to live forever, getting old is a disease and has to be treated as such, grats to the people who are researching this. Hope they get it done before i die lol First people in the bible are described as living over 1000 years and with every next generation the age limit was dropping....its time to raise it again, good luck!
I want to live longer naturally not to allow anyone mess around with my body, last thing avoid hospitalizations. Watch my diet, sleep at least 6 hours each night, work as tolerated around my home, enjoy as much as I can to be with family and friends, cut down on extra curricular activities for ex: minimize exercise daily.

Maximum stretching of lifespan works bit like elastic bands. There is a 10-15 year limit. For those wishing to attempt that the first step is to buy a century calander. Using clock works best for testing how long one slept just like a stop watch for a 100m sprint. You wont prolong your life more than 12 hours using these clocks or may be 24 hrs max if you use the Army clocks.
Absolutely YES,we will live upto 200-250 years after take a pill per day THE FORMULA of this pill is little bit complicated but manageable and this formula implies in 2024,size of the formula is take space equal to A2 size paper both side,no special chemical required but no. of reactions are atleast 50-100 required, minimum age to take this pill is 30 yrs, highest time we take this pill is 150-200 yrs, over all organs functionality of body will improves upto 3 times and this pill improves immunity 3 times EXAMPLE:- if any normal patient who doesn't take this pill and person affected with CANCER and another person who take this pill requires 3 times more viruses to dead. I think 95% of aging problem solved by this comment, only one step is required to implement on HUMANS is practicle exersice, SHREE HARI JI.
The technology to live far longer is already here, the question is, will governments, politics, skeptics, organized religion, powerful nutjobs and people obsessed with death and killing allow it and respect people who want to live and enjoy life longer? What we need is a jurisdiction where advanced experiments will be allowed for the benefit of ALL humanity.
Dr. Nun amen ra though! Fasting has been shown to increase lifespan in mice by 30% and when you combine that with diet and exercise 200 years old might be easy lol
Rejuvenation biotechnologies will be available to non-wealthy elderly people since aging is expensive, so to avoid bankruptcy and make money in the biggest industry ever, governments will provide their elderly citizens with said damage repair medicine.
Not necessary think how much an individual would change and improve given an immortal life span. Think how different a person is given a decade. Plus their will always be new people born.
@@themercurytranshumanist4052 And these "changed individuals" - living for 100s of years - would they be different from anyone that preceded them. I am not sure if you are implying change of character or physiology or other aspects of the self. I am inclined to believe that human emotions have undergone almost no change for as long as we know, why they may be the same as that of other animals on planet earth.

Does NAD+ result in accelerated cancer cell growth? Maybe there is positive to I’ve and negative impacts of this chemical. Maybe there’s a reason why as you age the concentration of NAD decreases naturally.

You have to modify the bodies ability to recall the stem genetics through genetic programming. This would require a complete deciphering of the genetic and rna coding and a re-engineering of the transcriptase processing to be mistake free. It's likely artificial cells will be created that can divide and remain mistake free.
If you live to 200., you're not retiring until at least 150-170 years old. Meaning your working life is probably 130 years of that. Screw that for a joke.
We might be able to code our body's ability. But God is the ultimate coder. According to the biblical God he set our limit at 120. Some people claim to have lived longer, but they do not have reputable proof. Hopefully with Gods blessing we'll be able to live as long as we want.
Better, we've loaded the ocean full of pollutants, air to, trash all over the place, deadly chemicals in random places, we spray poison over plants that creatures eat, poison pest, that also other creatures eat, I think we've also created or greatly magnified cancer, we torture people with advanced technology that could be used for our good yet they use it for persecution, nah more people not better, but stolen information from Godly people made us better, Tesla revolutionized our millennia, along with other Biblical geniuses this world took for granite

Longevity is genetics + environment along with diet and exorcise...

Man I want to live forever but how long my memory will have enough space to save memories and information
You can probably store about 300 years some scientist sustain, the problem is aging but if you didn't 300 years worth of episodic memory. Obviously you would want a back up later on and an upgrade.
I could see us using tech Neroi-interface technology in the future. Or generically engineering ourselves with crisper to increase our memory banks.
1000 years would be fair
just think if you could get a 500 year loan on your house!!! :-)
@@senju2024 haha, what a nightmare!
Where do I sign up for human trials?
I want 250 years life to explore world ❤
Don’t know why but always deep within I felt I can reach times where I can be physically or live at least 264 years
How?
I think the better question is could we still get it up if we live to 200 years old
@Dont Care he already answered that. did you watch the video einstein?
you can easily do reverse ageing by gain some knowledge and there is already technology exist that reverse ageing or live longer
Where can i find the knowledge?.and where is the technology...i rly want to contribute improving it. Don't be so generic with your statements.
I am board now at the age of 72 because I been there and done it so many times and if I get to 100, I will be even more board.
Try video games
I believe everyone should have "free" longevity medicine but one of the biggest benefits will be scientists, doctors, and astronauts. you could travel to Pluto and return to earth no older than when you left and still have a full career, life, family here on earth.
Yes I believe that is true. I actually think life extension is going to be a necessity as we begin to explore space. Right now if we wanted to send a crew of people to Pluto and back, it would have to be a generational ship. Which would be cruel in some way to the people born on the ship as they would not return to earth till they where 40 or 50 years old.
Thank y'all so much dearest 🌹
Y'all such an inspiration 🥰
Appreciate y'all from the bottom of my heart 💖

I have been told by a physicist and a doctor they believe part of the cause of human and animal aging has to do with radiation exposure. The Earth's geomagnetic field and ozone layer cannot stop 100% of the cosmic and solar radiation hitting the Earth. Over time this radiation causes mutation and degeneration of cells in our body. Most of my family members lived till in their late 90s and a few past 100. After they got in to their late 90s things started to get very difficult for them. Lots of health issues.
My background is in physics and electrical engineering. My knowledge of biology is limited. I found this video extremely interesting.
I was hungry & planning to have dinner after this video, now I don't know what to do 😐
The other questions science and society need to ask themselves is, how will the laws keep up with the new realities?
I take nad with resveratrol
I've already decided to live to 130. At least. No matter what.
Anybody else?
If rats can live 4 years we can live 200 years. Because everything starts with rat
i want to live as long as i am happy in my life!
Yea the way this place is going I don't think I want to be around that long.
M daughter of 7yrs cry every night hugging me not to get old n die as she has no one except me n she is not in good terms with her father...n really, I want to live till 200yrs just for her
Maximum stretching of lifespan works bit like elastic bands.
Your opinion
Absolutely YES,we will live upto 200-250 years after take a pill per day THE FORMULA of this pill is little bit complicated but manageable and this formula implies in 2024,size of the formula is take space equal to A2 size paper both side,no special chemical required but no. of reactions are atleast 50-100 required, minimum age to take this pill is 30 yrs, highest time we take this pill is 150-200 yrs, over all organs functionality of body will improves upto 3 times and this pill improves immunity 3 times
EXAMPLE:- if any normal patient who doesn't take this pill and person affected with CANCER and another person who take this pill requires 3 times more viruses to dead.
I think 95% of aging problem solved by this comment, only one step is required to implement on HUMANS is practicle exersice,
SHREE HARI JI.
Sentencing a person to life in prison brings up a whole new meaning. 200 years in a cell could be pretty hard!!!!!!
@@prestonjong nice! How's it going for you? I struggle with fasting the entire 24 hours but I work full time.
Being hungry and doing lots of exercise
I conclude that the children in the democratic Republic of the Congo will be the first to achieve immortality
Hahaha
Jokes aside : Up to a certain point.
Being hungry won't kill you being hungry to the point where you are too close to starvation will.
Well, Noah was 950 years old, soooooooo
If I live to be a grandfather I'm happy.
If such treatment is approved by the government, it would be priced to only be affordable to top 20-30%.
Rejuvenation biotechnologies will be available to non-wealthy elderly people since aging is expensive, so to avoid bankruptcy and make money in the biggest industry ever, governments will provide their elderly citizens with said damage repair medicine.
Unless you are the only immortal in the universe, the idea of immortality sounds like time has stopped.
If you are different from your parents - would you agree that they and you combined, may be an example of a 150 year old human that was seen to change over that time span.
I am inclined to believe that human emotions have undergone almost no change for as long as we know, why they may be the same as that of other animals on planet earth.
not in biological body,
but digitally, until we can figure out a way to transfer data from the digital world to biological beings with cloud transfer, that way, we can be immortal,
Biologically is not easy, it´s a process, but digital is close in our lifetime, we just need more people working on it.
Does NAD+ result in accelerated cancer cell growth? Maybe there is positive to I’ve and negative impacts of this chemical. Maybe there’s a reason why as you age the concentration of NAD decreases naturally.
Im only 27 and ive seen enough. Unless you have some kind of technology that will make this life worth living in this kind of society and these piss poor wages, I'm not interested. I'm sick to death of being broke and not being able to enjoy life. Sick to death of clocking into a dead end job day in and day out. Y'all on here trying to live forever and I'm ready to tap out.
Hope things get better for you
Yeah me too. Thanks.
90 years is more then enough ...thank you.
I would just hope I’d have enough money to support myself for that long.
You'd have more opportunity to make money. You could even work min. wage and then self educate the rest of the time for years if you wanted, and then once you have the knowledge, go into lucrative business.

Yes yes we live next 150 year yes
Yes people can live infinitely through their works. Physical bodies of all have to follow time limits law of nature.
John 3:16
[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Lol you will be financially free by 90 tho with inflation in properties
We might be able to code our body's ability. But God is the ultimate coder. According to the biblical God he set our limit at 120. Some people claim to have lived longer, but they do not have reputable proof. Hopefully with Gods blessing we'll be able to live as long as we want.
Imagine, the people being born when you are 100 turn 100 when you die.
By exercising you help your body stay younger for long as possible also your less likely to have stroke at middle of age or after 60 year of age .
I’ll pass am not trying to be working for over 100 years.
I would hate to suffer from 80-200 years old. Not like you're out there dirt biking, it's a slow painful death i think .
For now, it seems that the more people, the better we are doing as a civilization.

Only if they can control the aging process, your brain can function correctly and enjoy life, and your vital organs can last that long. I dont see how that is possible at this time, things wear out. If you live to be around 100 is doing good.
