Looks like all he wanted to see was what happens if you do win, and he was nice enough to let all of us see it too. I also couldn't help but notice that the "Fierce Attack" button is O instead of X on this version. I already knew the Japanese normally use a different button configuration when making their games, but it's nice to actually see it. :-)
You don't necessarily need to read the description to know that he isn't hiding it. Anyone who's played the game will know there's no way in a normal game to get dozens of attacks in a row on this guy without him moving once. However, I went through the Japanese and he does mention in the description that he strengthened Brigandier and forcibly made it use Hyper Mode the whole time.

i tried with cheating devices to kill ID ... after 2 hours of hitting him i got tired and stopped, i tought ID had infinite HP..what is the item you get for killing him?
EXTREMELY Infinity attack level only lasts 3 turns... and I don't even think Brigandier is supposed to be able to USE Infinity. That's the reason you only get 1 exp. This battle is supposed to be impossible. Id should do 19,998 dmg in the third turn.

brigander can use infinty attack right before u enter nasin and u can raise the hyper mode on any gear fight
