I totally agree!! Nine's character is so refreshing compared to all the cliché male leads. I love his character from the moment he and Melissa met until now that the story is over. I want more of him! His character design is very adorable too blue haired with pink eyes. Plus a wolf?! I just love everything about him💙🩷🤍
Nine is such an unique character!! Like he is memorable His character design isnt generic And personality is so cute Complements well with Melissa's He is strong in his own way
I was just telling a friend I wanted to see more depictions of softer men (open, vulnerable, not the super manly stoic archetype) in media, and how vulnerability and steength shouldn't have to be portrayed as mutually exclusive, so I'll have to check this out!
It’s so refreshing to see characters like that! Even if it’s not my favorite type of personality, someone like him would be a hundred times better than a ice king in real life
Preach! Nine is adorable one of my favourite in manhwa. I remembered being worried the author would change the target male lead later on at first but its nice to see a character with "second male lead" characteristics being chosen. Great points and i enjoyes the video❤
The only reason why I didn’t attach myself to him is because I thought the author would go the dramatic route and have her take back her cheating ex after portraying her as a strong woman. He gave off such strong 2nd ml vibes that I was afraid to give their relationship a chance
Of all the terrible manhwa tropes, going back to your abusive / cheating ex is the absolute worst for me. I love this manhwa because it avoids all this bs.
Its good when art remind people that there is many ways to be attractive, either for men and women, instead of setting some one golden standard everyone must bent to, be it idealized or "realistic" or whatever. Since difference between lazy money-grabbing "do exactly as in mainstream art, it worked for them so it will work for you" vs creative work "do NOT as in mainstream/put a unique twist on mainstream tropes, its risky but honest and fend off stagnation of art"

I love Nine!!!! All of your points are so correct!

Nine and the Male lead from "another typical romance novel" are just 🩷 >>>
The ML from “another typical fantasy romance” is definitely among my top-5 favorite male leads!
