They did not and then the seizures started happening. I’m no doctor but since they couldn’t ever find out what the cause was, I firmly believe it was linked to the epidural Carlin had when she gave birth to Zade.

Welcome to the natual birth club! Every birth is precious, but man I feel like going through it naturally is just special. Seeing my niece recovering from a c-section has given me a whole new appreciation for being able to have mine without surgery. Congratuations, welcome home, Navy Kate. You have a precious, God loving family!
I both of mine via C-section & I was able & blessed to witness & cut the cord of my cousin's 2nd birth it wasn't natural she had a epidural & listen absolutely no shade however a mother decides to give birth millions of mothers receive epidurals everyday across the world !! I witnessed her birth a few months after my last birth & it was SO DIFFERENT!!! I COULDN'T BELIEVE she was able to get up & walk to bathroom like a hour later !!! And listen I never had to use icepacks & one of those Peri bottles while going the bathroom & actually had no discomfort down in that area but my incision & my stomach muscles & the longer recovery is difficult on a already mighty recovery from pregnancy & birth on a mother !! The 2nd C-section was even more difficult well the recovery was because I had to go home to another little one & not to push yourself for so many weeks & not lift anything heavy & need to rely on others oh & the afterbirth contractions made that recovery a little more challenging to bounce back quickly !! But listen at the end of the day I don't think you care how they get out as long as they do & mother & baby are healthy in the end !! But it's been one my life's sweetest opportunities was to be blessed to witness my cousin's birth & be her birth partner !! I'll always be grateful for it I tell my husband a lot that I feel like he misses out on the birth experience with ours being both C-sections but he's like yeah I'm all good ! Lol ! But it is a beautiful experience when you're not laying on an operating table & all loopy !!.

We're not always gonna be here with her & the more family to love & support her the better ! They're 4 years apart & we gave her a brother ! They're 22 & 18 & for the most part have ALWAYS GOTTEN ALONG WITH EACH OTHER !! I'm 7&8 years older than my 2 siblings & I prayed every night for years for a sibling !! I had to wait till I was in my early 40's to become a Aunty & trust me it's been well worth the wait for that proud role I've been blessed to have in their lives !! I adore all 3 of them & it's not quite up there with motherhood but pretty darn close so yet another perk of having a sibling !!! ♥️

Not everyone has reactions but it can happen, and I’ve definitely always suspected epidural botch in Carlin’s case.

I've done both natural and with epidural myself and yes while you feel all of the pain, I personally felt the pain was quickly forgotten upon seeing your new baby and natural labor seemed to move quicker even though it may not have felt that way in the moment. @nancyfarcas you do realize that even with the aid of a epidural you o still experience the pain of labor ??? So because there's a option widley used across the world daily that helps the mother's body relax especially first births which generally endure longer hours of labor pains & help aid the mother through the absolute crushing pain of contractions & then delivery that's a bad thing ??? When I had my 2 C-sections should I have elected to to endure no pain solutions before they surgically cut my stomach opened & pulled my baby out of me which by the way my 1st I labored till 6 centimeters got a epidural at 5 at that point didn't even feel the epidural because the contractions were so strong & coming one after the other so YES I EXPERIENCED TREMENDOUS LABOR & CONTRACTION PAINS. But because there's a remedy to not have a patient suffer in extreme pain during a surgery they shouldn't take it & just opt to be completely un medicated while your being surgically operated on !?? Makes no sense the epidural just numbs you but you can still basically feel when you need to push etc. both my C-sections I had extreme pain in my shoulders or stomach area when they were pulling my baby's out me unless your under anesthesia your gonna feel some kind of pain & discomfort during & after labor & delivery !! You don't get a epidural right when you walk into a hospital in the beginning stages of labor every mother feels those labor pains unless ITS A SCHEDULED C-SECTION ! & I plenty of pain to endure getting prepped for it the spinal I had been given & then the freaking recovery of having major surgery !! You shouldn't judge other fellow women for the choices & sometimes not their choice on what aids they're are given while getting through birth !!! Birth weights are way up at the moment yes we're designed to naturally birth babies but we are all not created equally & it has to do a lot with the babies final weight position a ton of things ! My babies were both over 8 pounds my daughter was 23 inches long I have a low pelvic bone her head measured large she was sunny side up so am I any less of a woman because I didnt succeed with natural birth ?? Women aren't designed so to speak to naturally deliver 11 pound babies either with lager shoulder widths etc. ! Come on it's not a one for all situation. & Every woman is a warrior no matter how they are birthed their babies in the end ! It shouldn't be rated on whether or not or how much pain endured ! Trust me every mother experiences pain & agony all along the very long journey of pregnancy birth recovery & especially too if they nursed their babies!!

Epidurals are very hard on the central nervous system and can create vomiting a d passing out ❤

Aww.. so sweet! Congratulations to you all. I went natural three times and always said I wouldn't do it again, but I did. Great job Carlin. You are a strong lady and have such great support with Evan and your sisters and Mom too. Can't wait for part two when all of the family meets her.
When I had all 3 mine, 45, 35 and 40 years ago, their dad told me to take a shower because here we go. He was such a wonderful support. I so miss that his no longer on earth ❤8 cant🎉chang my comments because I hold school table
It's lovely to see you sharing the natural labor video, means it will help alleviate the fears of other expectant mom's. I've done both natural and with epidural myself and yes while you feel all of the pain, I personally felt the pain was quickly forgotten upon seeing your new baby and natural labor seemed to move quicker even though it may not have felt that way in the moment. Yes but that is why they call it labor. It's not supposed to be painless.
@nancyfarcas you do realize that even with the aid of a epidural you o still experience the pain of labor ??? So because there's a option widley used across the world daily that helps the mother's body relax especially first births which generally endure longer hours of labor pains & help aid the mother through the absolute crushing pain of contractions & then delivery that's a bad thing ??? When I had my 2 C-sections should I have elected to to endure no pain solutions before they surgically cut my stomach opened & pulled my baby out of me which by the way my 1st I labored till 6 centimeters got a epidural at 5 at that point didn't even feel the epidural because the contractions were so strong & coming one after the other so YES I EXPERIENCED TREMENDOUS LABOR & CONTRACTION PAINS. But because there's a remedy to not have a patient suffer in extreme pain during a surgery they shouldn't take it & just opt to be completely un medicated while your being surgically operated on !?? Makes no sense the epidural just numbs you but you can still basically feel when you need to push etc. both my C-sections I had extreme pain in my shoulders or stomach area when they were pulling my baby's out me unless your under anesthesia your gonna feel some kind of pain & discomfort during & after labor & delivery !! You don't get a epidural right when you walk into a hospital in the beginning stages of labor every mother feels those labor pains unless ITS A SCHEDULED C-SECTION ! & I plenty of pain to endure getting prepped for it the spinal I had been given & then the freaking recovery of having major surgery !! You shouldn't judge other fellow women for the choices & sometimes not their choice on what aids they're are given while getting through birth !!! Birth weights are way up at the moment yes we're designed to naturally birth babies but we are all not created equally & it has to do a lot with the babies final weight position a ton of things ! My babies were both over 8 pounds my daughter was 23 inches long I have a low pelvic bone her head measured large she was sunny side up so am I any less of a woman because I didnt succeed with natural birth ?? Women aren't designed so to speak to naturally deliver 11 pound babies either with lager shoulder widths etc. ! Come on it's not a one for all situation. & Every woman is a warrior no matter how they are birthed their babies in the end ! It shouldn't be rated on whether or not or how much pain endured ! Trust me every mother experiences pain & agony all along the very long journey of pregnancy birth recovery & especially too if they nursed their babies!!
