I am glad you put on the video "From the vault". I know you had mentioned you would be re-uploading older videos, but some channels don't tell you it is one. Gives me dejavu... but add that warning at the beginning I don't mind rewatchong it at all. Good looking out on that. Just thought you would like to know.
With the amount of blue you put into the resin and because of the yellowing that happens over time, it ended up looking like a borosilicate glass ball with ice in it! Super cool!
Very cool. I love the update videos. Although I have to admit. I simply love all of your videos. Especially the vlogs. You & Nicole are the perfect resin crafting couple. Have a blessed weekend. 🙏💗🤗🇺🇸
I can’t believe that actually worked. I would have suggested wrapping it tightly in cling film to try to prevent the resin from contacting the ice. Maybe the film would disappear in the resin. But this seems to have worked just fine.
Awesome Video Ben & i hope you are all well👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Cool to see it again after all this time. But I kinda thought it would still have the water in it, but the resin color still looks really good yet too. 🙂👍👍👍
This just came up recommended when watching someone build a table. Have to ask, what happens when you freeze that? Does the water expand back into shape? Original video which popped up was the strawberry and grape, very interesting!
cool little update on the ice project! (you might like to update the video description though, since it doesn’t look like the right one for this upload 😅)
The ball turned more into a green colour. It's not as blue as it was back then. At least on video... So it is either an illusion or the resin started to turn slightly yellow.
I've seen some other RUclipsrs experimenting with resin and ice and they're finding that different shaped ice in resin will refreeze or will actually crack the resin depending on thickness and shapes of the ice themselves. I personally want to see if the hospital popcorn ice would work or not.
Ben, PLEASE tell me what the numbers mean on some (very few) mold kits mean!? Is the higher the number harder or softer, what should I buy for home making molds??? ❤❤❤❤ The first ice try you did 5 yrs ago was the first one of your videos I watched. Been hooked ever since. Thank you❤❤❤❤❤
I like to use a stiffer silicone with a shore rating of 36A for simple castings, but if your casting could be difficult to de mold then you would need a softer silicone around the 28A or less
What would happen if you used Jelly instead, google suggests that it will turn back into a liquid at 35c. Speaking about it i wonder if you could use the crystal's to colour the resin, for some reason i have the image of you licking a bit of resin to see if the jelly crystals flavoured it, then scammi9ng the family into licking a pierce to see if they can taste it

I clicked thinking to myself “hasn’t he already done this?”. Sure enough lol. I like these updates to old projects
Same here! xD
I love that you try things even when it seems unlikely to work! This is so cool, and it would be fun to see different shapes and colors of ice too!
Ben was not going to let the first go around get the better of him. 😊 you go Ben. 👍👍

I love the "from the vault" episodes with the updates. Great job! 💜
i was expecting the explosion lol, but yeah this project was one of the best. and it's still looking amazing after 5 years! i love it.
So great that it is still as good as day one! Love the updates.
I love seeing the bubbles from the water/air from the ice melting as the resin set.
With the amount of blue you put into the resin and because of the yellowing that happens over time, it ended up looking like a borosilicate glass ball with ice in it! Super cool!
I can't believe it's been five years since you did this. I love watching your experiment projects and it was fun to watch this one again.
Thankyou 😊
It's fun to see things from the vault and see how well they've held up!
Who doesn’t love a good old re run. Great to see it again 👍❤️
I love that you do the updates at the end of these vault episodes!!!

Thankyou 😊
This one was a great piece from the vault. Happy creating. Take care
I think the small fruit ice molds would make some interesting things.
Magnificent work Ben
I'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU 5 YEARS??? IT DOESN'T SEEM THAT LONG. I WATCHED A LONG TIME BEFORE I EVER COMMITTED. LOVE TO YOU ALL ❤❤
Thankyou 😊
Hey Ben! This was a cool project...it still looks amazing!! Big hugs from Texas!!🤩😍

Gidday Benno.. I love your icy sphere and the cool bubbles in it
Luv what ya do from Australia 🦘🦘🦘
Thankyou!!
really awesome to see this and how it has endured over the years!
Thanks Mate
Nice work. Have you considered dyeing the water before freezing? I think that would give a better contrast.
Hey Ben
Great update. Do you have a shelf or two with projects meant for "future" viewings?
Happy Weekend and take care 😊
Thanks Mate, yeah I have a few 😊

Cool to see the water is still in the resin. Looks like there was a bit of color change to the resin, but that's all. Much love to all of you! 😊💜
Thanks Mel 😊
Have you tried to freeze the water again? This is still a really cool project.
When you freeze the ice put glitter in it
Cool to see it again after all this time. But I kinda thought it would still have the water in it, but the resin color still looks really good yet too. 🙂👍👍👍
It does have the water. did I misread this or...
@ohthereyouarepeter1435 The way I meant it was that yes it does and I figured it would, simply because there is really no way for it to escape.
@@garzilla7123 oh ok 😂 that makes a LOT more sense lol I was hoping I missed something 🤣 thank you for clarifying 😊
@@ohthereyouarepeter1435 Not a problem my friend. 🙂👍
I hoped this one was the jump scare video😂?
Now i have to find that one💯
Title : Injecting water in resin💥!!
😂
5 years!!! Dang time flys by
Make some Christmas stuff Ben and Nicole
This is a good one!
Thanks Connie 😊

If you do this again, what about using a ball shape ice cube, or maaybe a different shape like a skull ?
Maybe tint the cube and leave the resin clear
Have you considered freezing it again? Maybe freezing it will crack the resin.

Very nice
再度凍らせたらどうなるんだ?
It would most likely crack

Or even if you used a silicone skull mold to make an ice cube, would it keep the shape of a skull inside of the resin after it melts?
So cool 👍
Thanks Alison 😊

I remember this, it still looks great. Also, is there a P.O. Box that we can send you something? Where do I find it.
Thankyou Lisa!!! Yeah it’s

CAN U DO DA SAMETHING WIT A FROZEN WATER BALLON
Use some neon coloring!!!
I don't know why, but I was thinking this would be neat being turned into a globe. 😊. ingrave just the outlines of the continents.

Please refreeze it!😄
I have tried, never been able to. I have now given up on the idea.
🎉
❤️
👍
Of course it will melt.
👌🏻🤩
♥️♥️🇦🇺
That looks grouse
Why again?
