Please, please feature senior dogs! They are generally overlooked but they have so much life and love in them. This is great. I love how he does this. However, let’s be honest, it’s easy for puppies to be adopted vs adult and senior dogs. They’re the ones who truly need attention.
I understand why they only do pups since they're more likely to be rescued but I think the segment helps senior dogs as well even if not directly. There's usually only about 6-8 dogs featured. I'm sure more people check the website. Maybe it even makes someone consider the possibility when they may not have before. Like many other commenters here, I will both admire the segment (how can one be against puppies?) and make a plea for some kind of segment about the adult dogs who languish in shelters (puppies go in days, at least where I volunteer) and too often never make it out alive. But I will also take a stand against what some have commented here: I think the #LSSC team reads comments, and it can perhaps make a difference in their programming. Why are some people getting so upset about others asking for a show on adult or senior dogs??? Yes, bringing adult dogs on stage could potentially be a huge problem. But the dogs don't have to be present to be showcased, for crying out loud! Plenty of ways to do it via video. Secondly, LSSC has consistently been an awesome show so I'm guessing that a staff person or several do read comments and want feedback from viewers. Thirdly, the Show is doing what it can to promote adoptions and any adoption is a good one! Last..I ask again...even if comments annoy someone, is it really worth putting another complaint out there over something said from a good heart?
Agree with all of the adult and senior dog comments, but also black animals are less likely to be adopted because they do not photo as well. Great to include those as much as possible! Keep up the great work!

Please for the comedy value we need to see adult and senior dogs, it would be so fun for the writers. They could each get escorted up to a dog bed in the interview chair. Think of the ratings!
They can have CBD for dogs and they'll be super calm.
You need to feature Jon more. He's just so awesome!
Omg... I want them all. ♥️
For helping out during natural disasters and all manner of human castrophes, Chef Jose Andres should get the Nobel Peace Prize. He is an extraordinary man who deserves adulation and respect.
Stephen you need to start fostering CATS TOO. Love you. Great show as always. You A START.
I want Babs!!!!! OMG~ I'm proud to say my entire team (pets) were all rescues young, old, cats dogs, birds, turtles, etc... Breeders should be forced to work in a shelter for a month.
Good for Jose Andres, again.
I have absolute faith that these puppies will be adopted, do this every night! Drain the shelters! Please
Adding to the comments and pleas to please do a segment like this with older dogs. You're a doglover Stephen, you know they need all the love 💞💞
True 😇. Amen
Well that’s just great. My heart exploded and now I’m dead. Thanks Crinkles.
Puppies are the cutest thing in the world!!!
Crinkles is the cutest f***ing dog i've ever seen! Thank you for showing pitties, we have a mix and she is the sweetest thing in the world.
My favorite segment.
OMG!!! OSCAR ISAAC AND PUPPIES!!!!!!!!!
Great and entertaining segment but please do a segment on More mature dogs which are harder to get adopted.🐶
That was adorable. I would let all of them puppies crawl all over me. ☺️❤️🐾
I’ve donated many times to World Central Kitchen, and truly they along with IRC are the very few that don’t bomb your inbox daily with requests for more donations. Chef Josè is such an inspiration. And agree, puppies are great but show off the adults, who are adopted so quickly
Pluto isn't a planet.. but he IS a pupper!
José Andrés should get a Nobel prize.
So much fun, I am watching two in a row.
Thank you!
Best part is NDT feeling the groove.
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee! Stephen with a "PH", meet Steven with a "V"!
😂😂😂
"Stanley Pup" is a solid name for a kids movie.
I see Oscar and I remember King John in Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
2:49 the one cat is like "They don't suspect a thing."
Crinkles's's one bright blue eye is *adorable!!!*
So is Neil Degrasse Tyson gonna explain how Moonknight and Kunshu did that moon trick?
Please feature older dogs.
Sometimes shelters are overwhelmed by the number of puppies, & finding homes for them helps make room for older dogs, so no one is euthanized to make room.
❤ Babs ❤ Babs ❤ Babs ❤
Crinkles expression is so full of cheeky pride!
I always love these segments!
To repeat myself and reiterate:
Rescue senior dogs 100% of puppies rescued is easy.
Y’all a dog adopted is a dog adopted. They’re working WITH a shelter, and the shelter clearly decides to provide them with puppies. Older dogs are harder to work with, especially in crowds, they can’t all be carried, they’re fussier with costumes, and there’s probably a higher risk of a dog fight if they put a bunch of old dogs together. The show is doing WHAT they CAN in the safest way possible. Stop asking for them to do the segment with older dogs. This segment is successful, and I’m sure they drum up a bunch of web traffic on the shelter’s site that causes other dogs to be adopted too.
@@suitelifebeck
Way to reinforce the untruth that senior dogs are a problem. You must be a puppy yourself.
@@boomxmilizexpathacks9440 way to refute absolutely NONE of the logical and very valid reasons offered above. If you want to convince someone of something, try using evidence- based reasoning instead
@@enriqueali
I have worked with the humane society, lab rescue of Florida, Animal Protection league and have even hospice fostered.
What exactly do you not understand.
Nothing valid about the so called reasoning that celebrities should help rescue puppies that easily find homes instead of hard to place dogs.
@@boomxmilizexpathacks9440 Hey, you do what you do best. Meanwhile, gross income inequality and climate change are problems worthy of effort by people not turned into fuzzydummies by a few puppies.
Awwww 😍. Had never heard of potcakes till now. Googled it. I want one!
Let's see a senior pet rescue! Everyone wants to adopt puppies, but older pooches could use the help.
Pups need our support
Though perhaps next time they'll share
Seniors need love too
I know this segment was about adopting puppies, which I love, by the way. That is why I clicked and adopting any animal is always awesome. But there was also a segment that talked about the World Central Kitchen ,thanks , because that is also a great and I didn't know about it until now. We need more people like that.
Love this!!!❤️❤️❤️ puppies or older dogs and this segment is the BEST!!!
Jose Andres is a saint.
We are suffering and struggling here in USA but I know we are bellyaching in comparison to the Ukrainians my heart and soul goes out to them.

Riiiiiight?!
Omg I’m so glad Jose is okay!
Agree with all of the adult and senior dog comments, but also black animals are less likely to be adopted because they do not photo as well. Great to include those as much as possible! Keep up the great work!
Alma is not a pot cake mix, she is a purebred Entlebucher.
