Good stuff! I wanna do something similar when I Kaizen foam my box. I was thinking of making an illuminated socket size bar. So far, my idea is to use blacked out acrylic strips (about the width of a BIC lighter) with the numbers stenciled out so that only the numbers are illuminated. The overall setup would be: deep sockets on top, illuminated size bar in the middle, then the shallow sockets below that, so that the size lines up with both the top (deep well) and bottom (shallow) I was wondering how I could power it only when the drawer was opened when I stumbled onto your vid
Lmfao!!! Yes most of them are new like new new. The 1/2in set are for my high torque impact and the 1/4 in is new because I need them for a project I'm working on. Some of the ratchets are new/used but not by me hahaha. I found deals on ebay I couldn't resist. TRUST ME!!!! I would use them more often but my normal job has us working 12hr a day Monday to Saturday, so haven't had time to really use them. So that's also a reason why I have fallen behinds on new content, I am almost finished editing the new video so hopefully it will be up soon. =) thanks for asking.
i saw this dude all inked up and listened to the video for about 45 seconds and thought of Howard Walawits on Big Bang Theory. LMFAO . You must live in a state that has a very liberal stance on age limit for tattoos. And don't whine about being all negative, this is utube you need to have thick skin and listen to criticism if you want to be big so you can guilt your job to be a utube influencer. You did say something about being a man ( when talking about your h/f multi meter )
@@aZombieToaster an inline fuse would just be an option. That way if you have a surge, the fuse could be replaced instead of replacing your electrical components.
@@aZombieToaster leds are pretty efficient, and don't draw/use much energy. I would start with a 5amp fuse, that should cover it. Now that is just a guess, because I can't find amperage draw on that specific set of lights. It may be on the packaging, but if not, I still think 5 amps should work out for you.
That pretty awesome, and I just realized that the M12 system is nothing more than a highly dense 12v lithium ion power source.. I could do the same setup with a gun safe. Damn!

What you show us how you ran the wiring?
I'll be doing that video this weekend how I wired it up.
Yes, please interested in the whole build so I can do this to my toolbox. Thanks
If you do all the draws it would be over 100.00 and it would get messy and time consuming
God 5 min into this video and i already have to comment on his casual commentary. It’s awesome.
Thanks lol

Nice mod thanks for the idea 💡.....by the way you just missing a fuse to protect your circuit.
What fuse? Lol I'm not an electrician so I'm not very knowledgeable with the fuses.
