The plaque is still there around the stent so if you don't change your lifestyle and take prescribed medications after stenting. It can expand again into the stent called STENT RETHROMBOSIS. very difficult to treat again and the alternative is Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting(CABG).

Excellent procedure but is better if they also clean away the blockage as well
They clean the plaque with roto ablation if needed and then they place the mg stent that is absorbed over a year while on anticoagulation.

The downside is that plaque continues to buildup inside the stent, and at around 2 years, the patient will return for another stent because the first stent will have been clogged up. Eventually, the artery tears and arterial bypass surgery is performed. A better option than a stent is to go with an Atherectomy. Plaque is removed, no stent. Minimally invasive.
I have to do more research on Atherectomy, but just by Googling it sounds like a better alternative. But in the meantime I'd prefer not to have any surgery done to remove plaque, or push plaque back. So I will be taking K2(a vitamin that's said to prevent, and reverse plaque build up).
Great explanation mam 😃 🎉 thank you so much ☺️ love you 💕
You’re welcome! 💕
This might sound like a stupid question but why not remove the plaque? do we not have the technology? I'm 73 to 75% clogged in the right artery, I'm on heart medication and a statin right now.
Totally amazing!
Thank you for sharing this information wow, we only hear of stent.
Is it even matter stand or by pass !! You are alive
You should still be able to have surgery after 60, and clogged stents can be replaced.

I HAVE ONE QUESTION DOES STAND OPEN THE CHEST AND DO THE SURGERY AND THEN PUNCH THE ARTERY ?
It sounds like you have some questions about how stent placement works! During the procedure, they typically do not open the chest. Instead, stent placement is usually done through a minimally invasive approach.
The most common method involves inserting a catheter into a blood vessel, usually in the groin or wrist. The catheter is guided to the blocked artery in the heart. Once there, a small balloon at the end of the catheter is inflated to open the blockage, and then the stent-a small mesh tube-is placed to keep the artery open.
So, there’s no punching of the artery; rather, it’s a carefully controlled process designed to restore blood flow without major surgery.
You should add that the inflating of the balloon HURT LIKE HELL, as much as an actual heart attack...
Really, didn't know that.
Sir this is possible to remove cholesterol?
I just had a stress test done yesterday. It wasn't good. I might need a Stent. I'm terrified. I find out on the 31st of January.

Are there any side effects after surgery?
The stent itself usually doesn’t cause side effects unless there's an issue with the procedure. Major side effects typically arise from complications during the stent placement or the procedure itself.
Under optimal conditions, angioplasty and stent placement alleviate symptoms and reduce the risk of heart attack due to obstructive CAD.
If the procedure goes well, patients generally experience only minor discomfort at the catheter entry site, which typically resolves quickly.
When symptoms are successfully relieved, these minor side effects are usually well-tolerated.
However, catheter-based procedures with stent placement can lead to complications ranging from entry site issues to severe problems like stroke, heart attack, or even death.
Fortunately, the risk of these severe complications is low. The most common patient complaints are related to the entry site, including bruising, swelling, bleeding, or minor infection.
O would think that pushing the plaque against the artery wall would weaken the wall with all that pressure !?
So cool!
thanks ❤
I have 5 now
Good Lord. Perhaps you need to start including K2 into your diet because it is known to prevent, and reverse plaque build up.
I had this done a week ago.
I'm trying this at my sleepover
At what age do people START getting this done ? And was it planned or in Emergency because a lot of people are saying IT SAVED MY LIFE making me wonder if it was Emergency What happens during it can you feel the second it unblocks or Opens 😢 Ohh Everyone is so brave I'm Scary😮 but what Life has to offer is more time to live and be around the family Curiosity kill's the 🐈
People typically start getting angioplasty and stent placement procedures in middle age or later, often around their 50s or 60s, as this is when coronary artery disease (CAD) becomes more common. However, the procedure can be necessary at a younger age if someone has significant risk factors for heart disease, such as a strong family history, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking, or obesity.
Stent placement can be done in both emergency and planned situations: This procedure is often performed during a heart attack to quickly open a blocked artery and restore blood flow to the heart. This is crucial to minimize heart damage and improve survival rates. Stents are also placed during planned procedures. These are scheduled when a patient has significant blockages in their coronary arteries that are causing symptoms like chest pain (angina) but not an immediate heart attack. The goal is to relieve symptoms and prevent future cardiac events
At the time of inflating, there is no blood flow. Its crazy! What if the artery is 98% blocked ?
My father has 99% clogged. They added stent, but later he died becouse other vein clogged with tromb.😢
THATS AWESOME AS HELL
Would that thing ever become loose?
What hspppens if the cholesterol bulges through the mesh

Doesn't stent harm to the artery
Stents are designed to help keep arteries open and improve blood flow, but like any medical procedure, they come with some risks. In most cases, stents are safe and effective. However, there is a small chance of complications such as artery damage during the procedure, blood clots forming around the stent, or scar tissue developing, which could narrow the artery again
Doctors typically prescribe medications to reduce these risks, and the benefits of a stent-such as preventing a heart attack-often outweigh the potential downsides.
Is there a process to verify blockages ?
What caused the blockage you are what you eat 🤔
Thanks
What causes 2 stents between 2 year's gap 2021 Ist stent and
2nd stend same months
2023
Kindly helps to avoid 3rd stent ?
Why cant that procedure just remove the plaque???
I think its because the plaque is stuck hard on the vein so its hard to take it out
Plaque often grows within the artery wall rather than just clogging the lumen (the hollow part of the artery). This means it is integrated into the arterial wall and can cause the wall to stiffen and lose elasticity. Removing plaque can cause pieces to break off, potentially leading to blockages in smaller downstream arteries, which can result in heart attacks, strokes, or other serious complications. Additionally, the process of removing plaque can damage the arterial wall, leading to bleeding, weakening of the artery (aneurysm), or even rupture.
An athrectomy does involve removing plaque, but it’s used selectively and with caution due to the aforementioned risks.
They say K2 can prevent plaque from developing in the artery walls, and reverse plaque build up in the artery walls.
@@kobiecamp1134 Yes, K2 may help prevent calcium from being deposited in your arteries. It is an important nutrient for heart health as well as bone health.
@@healthdecide cholesterol we can manage/controll with some remedies.
