I’m 67 and even when I was 21 I couldn’t remember where I parked. I lack an internal compass but compensate by remembering the street address or landmarks, & count spaces in garages.
Ellen, I really appreciate your clear videos. I volunteer locally to provide computer/phone help in-person and via Zoom, and am envious of your iPhone "simulator" feature -- could you share what you use to display your iPhone screen for your videos (if it is something readily available)? I didn't see it revealed on your website. Thanks (from someone who (I think) shares your hometown!)

It removes successfully in Maps when viewed in "Driving"; but when I go to "Satellite" the blue "Parked Car" label marker is still there. I cannot seem to delete it. Can you help? - thanks.
Hi Ellen, I didn't think of closing and restarting the app. I ended up doing a restart on my iPhone and that fixed it! :) I like your channel and look forward to checking out some more of your videos. Incidentally, I'm running iOS 17.5.1 and am reluctant to update to 17.6.1 as I've read too many feedback problems on the 'MacRumors' forum.
Hmmm. I have had the Show Parked Location turned ever since I bought my iPhone 13 Mini (2 years, iOS up to date). I have NEVER received a pin notification. I went through your very clear instructions, and it turns out I already had things like you said. What’s my problem? Thanks for any help you can give.
Thank you very much for making this video was very helpful keep them coming I need all the help I can get in plain English, step by step so we can fallow 👍
Does it remember what level you parked on such as 3A or was it 3B that I parked the car? I just take a photo of the nearest parking number on one of the columns. This is probably better for a parking lot or street parking in an unfamiliar location. Elderly people with memory loss might want to consider giving up driving.
That’s what the notes section is for. Haven’t you ever parked in a lot that was so big and all looked the same? Not all seniors have memory loss and this can be helpful to everyone. Taking a picture is a great idea.
I'm at home and it shows that the car is at a shopping center about 4 miles away. This is probably where my iPhone bluetooth and car's bluetooth for some reason became un-paired - although my car shows when calls arrive (but not who is calling) and allows me to listen to messages that I cannot understand. My problem is that when an airbag deployed and saved me from injury it also left me hard of hearing. I pair my hearing aids to my iPhone as that really helps me understand callers, but after a short time (varies from a few seconds to a couple of minutes) my car hijacks iPhone bluetooth the audio is sent to the car's speakers and usually I cannot understand the speaker. (It's distracting from my driving as well). I liked your presentation.
My iPhone 12, I update iOS 17.7.1, restart twice but I have not seen “show park location” from Maps, the last line under Extensions : Ride booking, can you help me?
