I’m a Turkish person and I was very proud when I saw the name Gökçe, I’m not doing ballet anymore but I know her pointe shoe brand is famous, good quality and not too pricey.
The plastic is a “thermoform” rather than a “thermoset” one, meaning that they can be moulded to your feet. The process might speed up using a hairdryer!
Plastics are great for the ends of the spectrum! I need really soft shoes and traditional paste ones with that soft of a shank don't last much due to natural breakdown. I wear Purple Eu Gaynor Mindens 💜
You are so beautiful and elegant in those shoes even tgough you’re not fully dancing, I can’t even comprehend how beautiful you must actually are on the stage ❤
This is a thing I always see and it drives me crazy. I've been taught that when coming down from point first you put your heels on the ground, then you start doing a Plie. I know it's not a big deal but it always bugs me because it's actually wrong. When doing jumps first you put your heels on the ground and then you do a Plie before jumping again. 😫😫
Potentially. I think something like that can be done for figure skating boots at high levels of competition where they basically fit the boot to your individual foot using steam and heat. I've at least heard about it as an option it was never something I looked into since I was in a completely different kind of practice the shop I got my skates from just also handled figure skates
ah finally the black ones, like little black dresses for your feet, formal and dressy yet slightly sultry dangerous
Hitting them with a blow dryer on hot might help to mold them to your foot faster if you're ever in a rush, might be worth testing out

you beat me to the nationalism 😔
@@jiru331neither of you should be proud, you colonizers.

As a turkish ballerina, i feel proud when i hear gokce
As a turkish and russian 50/50 person I love it when ballerinas like russian and turkish shoes❤❤
Its really weird to see a ballet video about point shoes that aren't getting beaten up XD
They doooooo! It's the heat that moulds the plastic after a few wears!

The squat on your tippy tappys is INCREDIBLE

you make even simple moves look so incredible!!
As a freelance dancer, are pointe shoes a tax write off? (I’m not sure if you work in America, but I’m asking just in case!)
Your graceful even as your applying pressure to break in those gorgeous black pointes! 🖤💕
They are so beautiful omg
Plastic molds naturally because of the body heat, it may take a little more time but they will probably last longer ❤❤
Is the gapping in the arch because they are not yet broken in?
Could you use a heat gun to soften the plastic to form it?
Beautiful
I haven’t been en pointe since 2016. I did not know that Gaynor Mindon closed down!! I used their shoes so much back then!
Gaynor Mindon, didn’t close, they moved the production to Europe. If she is sponsored, that might be why she is saying that?
Omg shoes madee in turkiyeeee
Gaynor Mindon didn’t close! they moved the production to Europe
Compared to normal point shoes, how long do they tend to last?
Thank you 🙏 love ❤️…. I’ll be looking into your smart investment as pointe attire…. Thanks 🙏 once again ; even reasonably is becoming pricey!

Hi can i ask how much they Cost?
Omg i was like ohh those are such beautiful shoes and than she wore it without toe pad💀 go for it girl 😳😍
I was reading for this comment. No pads! Wild. Misty Copeland doesn’t use pads, either.😮
Do you wear any tape or padding in your shoes?
How cool!!!!! 🖤🖤🖤
god you look so beautiful
I wonder if a gentle heat gun would help you mold them a teeny bit. Maybe try it with a wrecked pair first…
How do you find your size in Pointe shoes.
WHERE ARE THE TOE PADS
I COULD NEVER
Plastic does mold with wear because of body heat
WHY WHY WHY WHY DID YOU PUT THEM IN WITH JUST YOUR TOES IM MEAN LIKE NO TAPE NO TOE PAD NO NOTHING JUST NAKED TOES AHHHHHHHHH
I would die if I can't wear a my GMs
I love it when the feet in a ballet video are blocked by a giant subscribe blob.
Are we not going to talk about "banana feet"
Beautiful arches!
No protection? :O
it felt weird watching her just go in raw
Wonder if you could make a mold of dancers feet and use a heat gun to speed the process 🤔

I'm sorry but the way you said Gökçe Aykut (especially Aykut) was so funny.
They don’t have the extension. Period
I would colour the white.. is it thread? with marker, like a sharpie, but the shoes look pretty 😮
I cut it!
They are too wide for me
Plastic?????!?
