A super-predator showdown 65 million years in the making! Opening in theaters this June, Jurassic World Dominion is pitting the franchise's celebrated dino hero T-Rex against an all-new challenger: the terrifyingly massive Giganotosaurus. I really wish the Giganotosaurus was slightly bigger. The 2 should be at least equally sized. I would get both. But it would just look weird with the T. rex being smaller.

Yeah, that would be awesome. It's the only 'big bad' from the series that we're missing. However, unless it pops up in Dominion, I don't really see it happening. Not anytime soon, anyway. The Super Colossal line seems to be focused on the current Jurassic World trilogy and the Camp Cretaceous animated series.

The super collasal Giga is cool. But have you noticed that there are two variations? If you look on top of the head it doesn't have paint. But as the one in the pictures or in other few RUclipsrs have a painted pattern on its head.🤔🦖

Super Colossal Giganotosaurus is Ultra-fantastic 😁! Unfortunately, my shelves not enough space to put this gigantic figure 😞. Not just that, plus, this gigantic figure is too expensive, so, I can pass this gigantic figure 😀. I will wait the another version, the Strike'N'Roar Giganotosaurus, this version is fit enough into my Jurassic World Dinosaur collection shelves 😊.

Giganotosaurus the biggest carnivore that the world has ever seen
Rather than a repaint, a redesign "Super Colossal Tyrannosaurus Rex" would be even better : jaws slightly longer, slightly smaller feet, tail a little heavier to hold the balance, the tail, back, body, neck and throat more stocky, and the exact location of scars including those on the muzzle.
I so will want Mattel would also do :
-"Super Colossal Mosasaurus" based on the "Mosasaurus Real Feel Skin" with a little longer body, longer and bigger tail;
-"Super Colossal Baryonyx" with slightly shorter feet, longer tail;
-"Super Colossal Spinosaurus" with smaller feet, longer and bigger tail, and bigger sail.

giganotosaurus would have been cooler if the teeth are not messy and if the head is sharper/thinner not broad. But its still a nice figure anyway

Yeah the only way to collect these guys personally is to JUST NOT OPEN THEM. Seriously they are huge to put on shelfs, I had to sell my colossal Indominus to buy another one in box due to it not fitting in my room.
I'm waiting for Atrociraptor to appear on a shelf and not be $150 AUS.

Why Mattel made the Giga green ? I thought the color is grey base on the render, trailer, prologue and stuff
I don't think it's grey, but rather a dull green. A lot of the Jurassic World/Park dinosaur figures aren't completely screen-accurate. Many of them have vibrant colors compared to what they look like in the movies.

I disagree, measured both I have and the giga is about 1.5 cm longer. Gaming beaver did a video saying this as well.

Overall I'm kind of disappointed. The lack of toe paint on the Giga, the Rex not getting a new, more detailed sculpt. I'll be passing on these guys.
I'm getting them, because this is likely all we're going to get. I don't see Mattel sculpting another T-Rex, or re-releasing the Giga with more paint. If anything, people can just paint the nails themselves and add some to the tail.

@@UnofficialJurassicWorldYT Kinda bummed out about that tbh. The Thrash and Devour T Rex got a new sculpt, made the head a bit broader than the previous standard rexes. I was hoping that the new Super Colossal variant would get similar treatment. Almost no reason get this T Rex unless one’s too lazy to repaint; ya know?

The head is. Look at Gaming Beaver’s review on the Thrash and Devour T-Rex for proof. He literally does a side by side comparison with the Thrash and Throw T-Rex.
@@brandonklassen4368 wider head on the new rex is not a plus either, it's just there for the action feature, looks bad imo. Tho the new paint is superior to previous Rexes. Heres hoping Hammond Collection Rexy sport that paint.
@@GamingMafia_id Your opinion on the matter is respected. Either way, at least Mattel isn’t just releasing the exact same rex over and over again and just slapping a different shade or two of paint consistently. Just wished they would’ve done the same with Super Colossal variant. Custom painting is becoming more and more popular by the day. If Mattel wants to keep releasing new Rexes in the near future, they’ll have to do something different, if they want to entice collectors to buy yet another T-Rex.

It just occurred to me that Spinosaurus is the only super-predator from the franchise that has _yet_ to get the 'Super Colossal' treatment. I for one wouldn't mind if Mattel came out with *that* in the future.

It's definitely a struggle finding space for these guys, and they're so darn big they can be tough to play with! I have the first Rex as well as Blue and Indominus. I kind of want Toro but where would I put it? Tempted by the Giga too, even with the cut corners. Lack of nail paint has never bothered me at all for whatever reason, though the lack of paint on the tail and legs is more obvious. Rexy looks wonderful and if I didn't have the first one I'd get it for sure but I can't justify dropping $70 on a repaint of a huge, space-filling toy I already have, so I'll keep my old orange Rex.
As someone who owns too many giants, your not missing out much on toro.
@@TheTreeDragon Since making that comment last year, I have gotten Toro, the Giga, and Dreadnoughtus as presents. I did at least manage to skip the Atrociraptor. If I want the upcoming Mamenchisaurus I'm going to need to get creative with making space.
@@Octillery63 Atrociraptor is actually a fun one mainly because its the tallest super colossal. Im also running out of room, but I also have plans on making more room. For now, I’m unsure if I should get the mamenchi.

The giganotosauruses name is Zeb and zeb did nothing wrong in the whole film he wasn’t killing for sport he wasn’t trying to kill somebody witch the indomunus did and zeb did non of that so he is not a villain
Indominus is a mix between a TRex and a Raptor, and lots of other species…

Mosasaurus has never been done in the Super Colossal line. Unless you're counting the Reel Feel Mosasaurus as a 'Colossal' figure, which it technically isn't.

I want these
The colossal giga recently came to stores near me, seeing it in person was a bit of a let down. The plastic is softer than the colossal indom and the paint job leaves a lot to be desired, the beige on the belly often is splattered around on the body as if it were sloppily done, in all website pictures it nice, neat and has beautiful 'water ripple' coloration with the beige belly color. Im hoping to find that one diamond in the rough at my local stores that has a halfway decent paint job so I will keep hunting.
