As someone who has been skydiving, Matt's description is horrifically accurate. Although, during the adjustment of the straps and clips, the sensation of dropping without warning is when I shrieked and thought it was over.

I’d still do it again. Perspective counts for a lot: For me, being strapped to an adrenalin junkie guy was fun. ;) It does ruin other activities tho... whitewater rafting was no fun after the rush of skydiving.

I HAVE skydived, and Matt Cohen’s story was about the funniest clip of many con-videos I have been enjoying. Thank you to these fine entertainers for sharing their story-telling and other antics with the fans. Thank you to the people who make the conventions happen. This is the year (2020) that we need some smiles and laughs. For me it is the Con, blooper, and fan-made montages, moreso than actual SPN episodes, that have brought me those smiles, laughs and moments of respite from the frightening and ugly of 2020.
I am isolated with severe cold and let me tell you, Matt's ...Rant? Story? Reenactment? Whatever it was, made me laugh sooo loud. Ah, bless him, and bless R2 for letting him tell the whole story. And when the pandemic is over, I am SO looking forward to try me some skydiving. Yes, I heard the man. But it just made me want to try it even more :D
I went skydiving out of a helicopter and it was super fun, but i gotta say matt was right on the dot with that explanation lol. The instructor on my back did the thing of spinning us while we were freefalling as a joke and that was TERRIFYING (in a sort of fun way), but then he let me control the chute on the way down and it was so exhilirating! 10/10 would do again :P
