I keep coming back to this video whenever I feel low and downcast. It is truly a masterpiece the story which is being unravelled here - that success is always preceded by extraordinary failure. Liverpool FC is an extraordinary example of that - in the 1970's and the 80's, Liverpool almost was worshipped across the country and Europe for it's style of play and it's ability to win in football. The era under Bill Shankly, Bob Paisley and Joe Fagan - was the most successful era for Liverpool. However, nobody then could have imagined that Liverpool football club would go without winning a title for 30 years. The Hillsborough and the Heysel disasters, broke the spirit of such a glorious football club. But that's what football makes you realise - that everything that you have in life or in football for that matter, can be taken away from you, so take nothing for granted. Also particularly about football, no single club ever has a divine right to win. It can all change in the spur of a moment - there is an element of chance which is always going to be involved. In that way, football is very similar to life, maybe that's why we all love it so much. It is a testament to Jurgen Klopp and the work he and his entire team has done at Liverpool that have restored the glory days back. And if you go deep into it, you will see that the Champions League was won after we had lost the final in the previous year. The Premier League was won after we had lost by 1 single point in the previous season- any other season, we would have definitely won it. There is not only success and glory here - there is a true story here of going through deep failures but still persevering, fighting and carrying on despite the failures. I think the essence of You'll Never Walk Alone anthem really is embedded in Liverpool's story. Along with the success and the failures, it is the unity, the passion and the belief which has been evoked in the entire fanbase of Liverpool supporters all across the world, which is Jurgen Klopp's biggest achievement as a manager of this football club. Can you imagine how many kids will be inspired watching this unfold on TV? I can assure you there will be a lot of them because the support for this clun across the world is extraordinary. Through his journey with Liverpool, Klopp also epitomises what it takes to be an achiever as well as a brilliant human being who is kind, gentle and extremely sensible. I'm 100 % sure that every club in the world would want to have a manager like him, there is no doubt about that in my mind. You can't help but think about all the sacrifices of the people and the players in the past - they have been truly vindicated, despite not being able to see their team compete and win the best trophies. This includes everybody, the fans, the players, the supporters in the stadium and the supporters behind their screens who silently support this football club. I mean - what an incredible story and what an incredible man Jurgen Klopp is ! Hope he does not leave this club anytime soon - but whenever it happens, there is not one single Liverpool supporter who will not have tears in their eyes for the memories that he has left behind! :)
The day that change us all, the day that turn doubters into believers, the day that we all convinced we were in the right hand, the day that we'll never forget, the day that Jürgen Nobert Klopp arrive, thank you for the 5 years that you giving us, and hope for the better next 5 years
I still rewatch some of the matches from 2011/12, when Klopp won the German championchip with Dortmund. My grandpa used to say Dortmund played football that was just out of this world, both efficient and beautiful. And it's so good to see the exact same thing happen in Liverpool again. Just as in Dortmund back then, Klopp took a team of young players and formed an unbeatable unit, like a well oiled football machine, that is just a joy to watch. Klopp is the best manager in Europe, and I love that his persona fits so good with the LFC and it's fans
You do realise Liverpool were one of England's most successful clubs even before Jurgen took over, right? A great club languishing in the doldrums, but one of the most successful nevertheless.
@Rahul: You do realise that Liverpool’s past glories were completely irrelevant to the team’s quality when Klopp took over? He took over what was then a Europa League quality team; his achievement is not diminished by the fact that Liverpool have an incredible history of glory. Those glory days were long gone by the time Klopp took over.
I don't disagree, Jim. My only gripe was with the OP's rather dismissive and disparaging assessment of Liverpool as a Europa League team (a team with a rich history in the European Cup), which seemed like an unwarranted generalization. Of course I agree that Klopp took over what was a Europa level squad, and look how he's turned it around!
if we dont have a statue of this legend when he retires i might cry. what hes done for this club is just unbelievable, and the way he treats and loves his players and the fans are just unreal honestly i love the man and always will❤️
@@dennis141288 he will go down as one of the greatest at our club and hopefully brings another title home this season. i even have a big frame of him in my room that’s how much he means to me and my club
Keeping our achievements and trophies aside, the most defining moment will always be west brom home in klopps first season. That was the first time the fans and the players got together. Everyone laughed at us at the time, but it was the first time we believed something special was going to happen. We were rejuvenated. I don't know how to explain that feeling here but all I can say is it felt right ❤️
Absolute Legend! I was a little too young for Shankley, but this man will stand shoulder to shoulder with him and Bob Paisley forever in my heart! Thank you Jurgen for making us all believe again!
"Giving absolutely everything doesn't mean you get anything but it’s the only chance to get something!" What an absolute legend. Massive respect for this man from a Chelsea fan.
Its so funny, when we won the league when city lost, at first i was almost mad. I thought to myself, Ive waited so so long, and when we finally get it, we can't win it on the pitch, and no one is in the stadiums, isn't that so typical. I was almost pitying myself while obviously still being very happy. It was only when I got away from my family a bit and has some alone time, that It really sunk in. At that moment, I didn't give a toss about how no one could celebrate together, or the world around us, I just thought of all the experiences liverpool has given me since I was a little boy, and how finally, finally, we've won what i always dreamed of. I swear I cried more than I can remember just sitting there on my couch, with a beer, reminiscing about how much I bloody love this club and everyone in this team. It was truly one of the most bizzare feelings ive ever had
Did the exact same thing watching the sunset and just looked back at the good times and the storm this club has weathered....... I have finally seen the golden sky
I was actually cheering for city, just to see our boys celebrate at Anfield. Being very happy and in the same time disappointed is a very strange mixture of feelings.

Just wow..this guy came from Dortmund and made himself a living legend in Liverpool. This guy will be always a huuuge legend for Liverpool fans. He did everything right.
The best thing that could have happened to the relationship between England and Germany was Jürgen Klopp. Thanks for that, greetings from Germany and stay healthy!
Whoever listens to him starts following him ...he's an amazing person. I remember South African cricketer Faf du plessis being totally blown away when he met him and also Last week tonight' host -John Oliver, praising the German so passionately when Liverpool were about to face FC Barcelona and Klopp said if we're gonna lose to Barcelona, we're going to lose in the most beautiful way. He's doing an amazing job no doubt about that but he's turning Liverpool into a giant football club. YNWA❤️
The 'celebration' after the West Brom game was misunderstood by almost everyone except those who saw the bigger picture, the bigger picture that Jurgen was trying to build a team spirit whilst respecting and saluting the fans and i'm so glad this is used as a reference point.
I was genuinely shocked that anyone was negative about that gesture. How many times have we heard football fans lament about the players not applauding them at the end of the game and showing little appreciation? And now we have a moment where the club manager leads his players out to properly thank the fans for their support and people ( even some Liverpool fans) are pissing on that gesture? Madness.
Klopp understood that these kinds of moments needn't wait for a great win or a good run of form, the team and the Kop are meant to be one, and for years that symbiotic relationship had been lacking. Fighting for a draw was never the point of the celebration, finding our voice, our passion, our heart as a club was the point. Klopp just gets it.
Klopp is just a brilliant example of a genuinely good person. His disposition has definitely contributed to his success as you can see why any one of his team would run through walls for him. What a great man and leader.
Newcastle fan …but I have always over the years followed Liverpool I recognise the love and passion of the city ..and Klopp the perfect personification.
He hasn’t just fixed the first team, he’s transformed the belief and mindset of the club. For the future of the club also. And made them believe that you can actually win the biggest prizes more than once. Also of your local or in the reserves you will get a chance.
I am worried about the future. I cannot imagine the day when Jurgen will leave Liverpool. 7-2 defeat a few days ago is nothing compared to what had happened to us before he arrived. I used to die every day inside waiting for a great Liverpool manager. He came, cleared the mess, and made this club and every player of this club a beast.
Man, that corner taken quickly is gonna be such an iconic moment in Liverpool history. Can’t wait to sit in a pub 20 years from now and talk about the corner with my lads
Good speech through this documentary, been a Liverpool fan for over 47 years.. and in all that time these last few seasons have been special.. thanks to this team, under Juergen Klopp .. keep it going, and well done 👍..
I am a Borussia Dortmund fan from 1997. We are all in love 😍 in Jurgen Klopp. So in love that in 2015-2016 when we were eliminated in Europa League, we were unhappy that Liverpool didn’t, won the final. We all hope that one day he will come back. It will be like we are winning the Bundesliga.
As a fan, I just can't imagine the day when he leave and who will take his seat next. Because Jürgen has done a lot at this club. It's not just about trophies, it's about building a team and having a really good relationship with the fans. I don't think many people can do that. Obviously, he loves his job, he loves his club, he loves his fans and he loves his life at Liverpool. He is a very special person.
"I know it's impossible, but let's give it a try..." Completed a comeback from 3-0 to a 4-3 win and then went on to become Champions of Europe. Damn Jurgen, that's one heck of a try.
As a united fan, Klopp is fantastic. Such a special manager and person, the dedication and love he’s given to Liverpool is unreal, you don’t get longevity anymore in football in terms of managers or players, so he’s indeed the special one
The work Jurgen has done is incredible. He had it way harder than Pep and achieved miracles with a lesser team than Pep. He won everything despite of having the lowest wage bill out of the top 6. He will leave as a Liverpool legend
As someone who has seen and been through a lot in my life nothing ever made me cry, but this does put a smile on my face and tears of joy in my eyes .. watching Jurgen speak.. being able to live through the painful and joyful moments even though it's through a video..It's truly incredible.. @@mikedelaney2900 I couldn't have said it better Mike. I'm almost 66 and I remember the good old days......Shanks, Bob, Joe...and I suffered in some bad days as well under Hicks and Gilette. I still stuck by this wonderful club and never wavered. I'm so proud to be a Liverpool supporter. I always have been and I always will be. I made sure my son was a Liverpool supporter while he was growing up because I'm married to an Evertonian. LOL. Anyway, the point is, I'm so glad we have this magnificent manager. He's not only a football genius, he's a wonderful person.
Love that comment mate same for me. Nice1
Rest in Peace to all the fans that passed away during the pandemic and wasn't able to see Liverpool lift the cup 😔
There is more to life than football. I'm sure there are more important things in life they missed out on.
Unless they aren’t a football fan. Not for us to justify but for many, football is life and in their lifetime, seeing Liverpool lift the Premier League trophy would have meant the world, just like it is to so many hundreds of thousands.

This man. His mentality. So happy my father got to see the transformation Jurgen made to us before he passed away and I will always cherish that champions league campaign we watched together to then win it in Madrid ❤
"Jurgen Klopp", The man who came to Liverpool and changed our lives forever.

He is really a philosopher, isn’t he
I keep coming back to this video whenever I feel low and downcast.
The champion's cartoon summed it up perfectly,
"Other teams have managers. We have a guardian angel with perfect teeth."

Mad mad mad respect for this guy man. He literally picked a Europa league team and turned them into a legendary squad!
You do realise Liverpool were one of England's most successful clubs even before Jurgen took over, right? A great club languishing in the doldrums, but one of the most successful nevertheless.
@@rahulbasu659 Nobody disputes that, but they literally were a europa league side at the moment Jurgen took over.
Liverpool is legendary team, but your squad is europa league tier when juergen come.
if we dont have a statue of this legend when he retires i might cry. what hes done for this club is just unbelievable, and the way he treats and loves his players and the fans are just unreal honestly i love the man and always will❤️

It fills my heart with happiness to hear this. We miss him desperately in Dortmund, but he brought his magic to you now and for that it was worth it.

He'll get a statue. Fully deserved. Legend.

This legendary guy is actually more of a philosopher than a sporting figure. Completely special

Typical yes....bloody tremendous all the same 🤯💪
What a speech 👏
Did the exact same thing watching the sunset and just looked back at the good times and the storm this club has weathered....... I have finally seen the golden sky
I was actually cheering for city, just to see our boys celebrate at Anfield. Being very happy and in the same time disappointed is a very strange mixture of feelings.
I broke down when we lifted it . It does mean more here it really does
Thank you from all my heart because I'm a big Liverpool supporter from Cyprus, thank you for being apart of Liverpool's history in making a great team and bringing all the players together to make a dream come true

Whoever listens to him starts following him ...he's an amazing person. He's doing an amazing job no doubt about that but he's turning Liverpool into a giant football club. YNWA❤️
Bangladeshi naki??
And now where is Pulis? that guy is a fucking joke, championship standard at most..
They laughed at us at the time, no one laughs at us now.....
Can’t help but get a tear in my eye at most of these moments, what a club, what a manager.
The smile on his face when arrived in Anfield for the first time, have many thing to tell
Klopp is just a brilliant example of a genuinely good person. His disposition has definitely contributed to his success as you can see why any one of his team would run through walls for him. What a great man and leader.
