Harmonies of my México... This music is very representative of the early Twentieth Century of my country... Colorful, french influenced, searching for the balance but passionate at the same time... Conflict and serenity... Is Mexico ... Gorgeous performance Mr. Josh Wright
The entrence of the tenor voice at 1:09 is one of the most articulate and expressive cello imitations that I have ever heard. Beautiful colours Josh 👏👏
Beautifully well played. I heard this piece for the first time yesterday at Alexandra Balog's recital as an encore piece. I dare say it was the highlight of the entire recital for me. That and the Beethoven Sonata no. 30. Thank you to both of you for such tragically beautiful interpretations.
I love this piece and you play it gorgeously. I would like to say that the silence that you are taking between the introduction and the beginning of the melody is absolutely unique.
I recently came across this piece and another he wrote for left hand. It is one of those beautiful piece that you can just sight read and enjoy. Well, a couple of times to get it right. Didn't quite sounded like that on my first try. 😅 May I recommend his left had piece. A Pesar de Todo. Malgré Tout. It's for left hand, equally beautiful and fun to play. It's about the same lever of difficulty, but I feel it's a good piece to introduce students to reading and playing for left hand.
I have to be honest, I have listened to this performance repeatedly because the gentle grace is so breathtakingly exact and personal. And, you have such beautiful hands, it's a ballet at the keyboard. Thank you for the exquisite presentation, your artistry leaves me speechless.
Such a beautiful piece and so beautifully done! Your channel is fantastic. I've returned to piano and have really benefited from your tutorials! Thank you!
The chapter selection of this channel is as TASTEFUL as good wine, the more I listen, the more the lingering charm. Also, pleasantly surprised to stumble upon the Podcast -- which I happened to find SUPER helpful on safely building muscle strength with my 4.5cm wrist + 9th reaching span. Thanks to you and Ricky, wearing mom's yoga suits for practice has never felt so normal 🤗!!
No, perfect tempo to sing each phrase and set the feeling of nostalgic longing. This is a romantic singing piece, most of the time ruined by virtuoso manner of playing.

Gorgeous. The balance of voicing is incredible.
Only genuine concert artists can voice music this beautifully.

I’ve never seen 4 hands so perfectly in sync😄
Lovely piece, stunningly performed👍
it's just the reflection in the key cover no?
@@megumi_0 No, it's four people using one hand each.

That was beautiful!
Manuel ponce is one of my favs. Perhaps you could try his balada mexicana? A bit more virtuosic;)
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you, Josh.

Amazing, you can listen to two very different pianists and get completely different tempos. I love this one though

Nothing I am able to see because of your piano direction and specially when you make any tutorial vedio face very difficulty .
Too slow.
