Fucking amazing from start to finish. The fact that every song is basically an epic anthem shows this band REALLY cares and loves what they're doing
What happens at the fourth minute on Mother;s Guilty Pleasure or the Hills of Qartaba or the Glass Coffin are some of the best US Power Metal I have heard for a very long time. Or indeed some of the best I have heard in my life and I don't believe what I am writing. This is insanely good and inspired.
Looking forward to seeing them in 2025 as well in Up the Hammers. If the man can play and SING LIKE THAT live, he has found an eternal fanboy in me.

Yes, yes, feck, yes! This is one of the best metal albums I've heard for many, many years. I feel the same shock that I felt when I heard system of a down for the first time. What is this, outta nowhere? (Well, outta Canada at least..) These guys ate decades of metal and spit it all out in something unique. Even the album cover screws you. Goddamn great.

Music and vocals are good. Production leaves a lot to be desired. Really fatiguing to listen to. Too much high end? I wonder what this would sound like with 5k and up turned down a few db.

I agree on the production. I would have enjoyed a somewhat 'beefier' sound, so to speak...
If you listen on a streaming (YT Music, Spotify, etc) the audio is better. But consider this is a small band, so this kind of production issues are normal. 🤘🏼
