I am from Maryland (USA) and Halloween is my favorite holiday, all the spooky things make my black heart so happy. When I was a kid my grandmother made all of the grandkids' Halloween costumes and they were AMAZING! She was such an amazing seamstress (still alive at 96 no longer sewing though) she made Dalmatian, witch, genie, dinosaur, and dragon costumes just to name a few. Halloween will always make me thing of her and the love that she put into making each costume special.
I LOVE Halloween! So fun with decorations, costumes (even if you're just handing out candy to trick-or-treaters). I love to watch Halloween episodes from sitcoms too.🎃👻🧙🏻🦹♀️🧚🏻♀️👸🏿🍫
My husband and I do celebrate Halloween, sort of…we hand out candy. I think my husband mostly does it so teenagers don’t egg his car, but we do enjoy seeing the costumes that the kids wear. I usually walk around the neighborhood at night admiring the jack-o-lanterns.
I was born exactly 1 week before Halloween (I will be 41 on Oct. 24th). When I was younger I would go to the Halloween Party at church...I don't really remember doing the traditional Trick or Treat. I don't eat a lot of different types of candy either. I mainly only like sour gummies these days!! Thanksgiving in November...my Dad cooks. Christmas Day. We usually go shopping the day after Christmas.

Definitely celebrate Halloween. It’s my favorite holiday. I did a very similar habit tracker with the book from hocus pocus where I penciled in lines and I’ll just color the sections as I go. I love everything about this setup!

These two Pandemic Halloweens are sucking my soul dry and it hurts how limited my celebrations have needed to be on account of it.
I mainly do a lot of rough pencilling in and gradually get to the shapes I want before going in with the pen. In this case it was mainly copying from / styling my regular letters to look like the ones from the reference fonts, but for more complicated fonts I do just trace them 😄

Australian here. It was never celebrated here when I was young but started to creep in 20 years ago, primarily driven by retail sales. I don’t celebrate (it doesn’t make sense heading into Summer, I think that is why it’s so uncommon in the Southern Hemisphere) but I make sure we do have some chocolate or lollies on hand in case some children come knocking. That said there now seems to be an unwritten rule in our area, kids only knock if you have Halloween decorations up.
