  • A Mini album . using Stack the Deck principle for complete pages in the the album.
    Please watch to the end where I have suggested that the cover should be larger
    6x41/2. To give more room for the pages .

    Great tutorial Kay and definitely worth having a go at this method. I always use stack the deck but only the small hinge and then make my pages separately. Tfs Marina :)) x

    I ❤️ LOVE this. I Just LOVE IT. I Have been looking for a slightly easier album in comparison to the last one I made. It took me so long to make the book, spine and page links (what ever they are called) I never went any further. It’s beautiful, but I will fill with pages when I have more time. This looks like I could get a lot further after a couple of days, and then ACTUALLY finish the album. Haha. This IS my next project. I am excited. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. Great tutorial.

    Laura Denison from Laura Denison Design's is the ORIGINAL designer of this method of binding. I think you should mention that as people will think it's your idea or Marie's idea, whom I also follow as well.

    • @kazeekins1
      @kazeekins1  6 лет назад

      Thank you for your insight , I never claimed it as my design however . If you followed me you would realise i credit where I am aware of the creator of the concept. I do not claim credit for other peoples designs. Kay x

      It's all good...no worries. Laura Denison invented her Stack the Deck Binding years ago and I always thought it to be proper RUclips etiquette to mention the original creator of any original creative method...binding, flower making, etc. Whether you're tweaking it to suit your needs or crafty preference and personal use...in your case you took her method and changed it a bit and taught your audience this "new" way of Stacking The Deck. It actually looks very solid and I myself might have to give it go. Thank You for responding...I too appreciate your feedback. I follow Marie from Marie's Scrapbooking and I love her work...Have a great rest of your weekend....

    I add tyvek to help keep the areas that will be bending. It helps to keep the album last longer than not. To get my tyvek, I recycle packages I get in the mail. Otherwise it can be bought.

    • @kazeekins1
      @kazeekins1  5 лет назад +1

      Thank you . Tyvek is quite difficult to obtain in the U.K as it is very expensive . Kay x

      @@kazeekins1 do they have stores over there where building contractors can donate leftover materials or used items like they do here in the states? I sometimes find leftover rolls of tyvek at these places.

    • @kazeekins1
      @kazeekins1  5 лет назад

      @@michelerichter4 I am not sure .. we have "Scrap Shops" which are donation based ..they are few and far between sadly .. but I will keep it in mind . Thank you . x
