Your stats just stay at the point they were when you got the trinket im guessing. Not sure but maybe when you drop it your stats go to what they were without top rock?
Rock bottom is more useful the earlier you get it in a run, so I guess this'd be the opposite. Just a little extra stat up for when youve already gotten everything you need

As someone who doesn't follow touhou, it could simply be a shide sealed stone, not an uncommon thing in Japanese rites.

Did you not see them eviscerate a boss? Rock spiders are pretty tanky normally, it balances them
