I know the location can be worked out fairly easily from snippets in the commentary, but it would be very helpful - especially for foreign visitors - if you said at the beginning something like "the castle xx miles east of Edinburgh on the Firth of Forth".This sort of information, which only takes a very few words, is something I find is missing from many videos - more important than background music, some might say !
You forgot to mention that the Anglian Northumbrian saint Baldred established a monastery on a nearby headland. Indeed, the place-name may derive from the Brittonic "Din Tahlon' for 'The Fort of the Feat of Arms".
Looks scary as in location, looks like any minute is going down an collapse, I love Scotland I would love to move there if I had the money so I can secure my rest of my life there, I'm pushing 60 yo.
If I was a billionaire , I’d purchase it and have it rebuilt completely to its former glory and live there
I'm with you.

Ok thanks for that feedback will do in future videos
The Bass rock mentioned in the video, also has remains of a castle/prison.
@@andrewbyrne2173 thanks for that info
If a depiction even exist today, it would have been nice to see the castle in it’s prime years.
Thanks for your comments, I will try and add painted impressions in the next video in order to give a view of the look of the property over history.
Wow incredible video covering this famous castle in Scotland
Thanks 😊 for your comment

Yes, looks that way, they recently did a renovation on the site to protect visitors. Thanks for your comment. Scotland is a beautiful country.
