    ABOUT ME
As a licensed architect, professional renderer and design consultant for 25+ years, I watched as sketching and designing with pencil in hand was slowly replaced by design with a keyboard and mouse. But the Apple Pencil makes drawing by hand relevant again, and these courses in Procreate, Sketchup for iPad and *Morpholio Trace will get you back to the drawing you love, and restore the pencil to its rightful place in your design process.

Let's hope so. For the moment it seems way too hard to get AI to produce what you want. I've tried many times, but even if I get it right, I just forget what I did the next time. I suspect that the people who make AI look effortless on RUclips are only showing us the last half of the week they wasted doing it haha (not really, but it felt could to say that!)

Damn, that has been a problem! Something about using Ecamm Live (my multi-camera filming program) I usually remember to fix it but not this time

Now you can just feed midjourney with a simple sketch without all of this hassle

But can you really control it that precisely with verbal prompts? And don't you need to keep adding supplemental images to "show" it what you're looking for? And aren't you at the mercy of a somewhat random factor that is hit and miss in terms of the view you get, and the details in the view? I hope your answer to all of these is "no, no problem because you can do X, Y and Z to overcome all that, but at some point don't you have to figure in the extra time it takes to prompt the machine to make sure all of this is OK? Sincerely interested in your response, and please provide specifics that we can all follow.

@@iPadForArchitecture From my experience, yes, you can nail shadows, position, realism etc with only feeding midjourney a simple handdrawn sketch and using a basic prompt like “architectural vizualisation”. Afterwards you have excess control over specific areas in your scene with the selection tool and from there you can specify prompts for furniture, windows etc and really personalize your render.
My process is usually a mix of rendering in procreate, and then uploading my sketch to midjourney. Best of both worlds somehow,
If you havent tried it yet, I would highly suggest you to check it out. Not trying to bash your technique here, rather I think you would save tremendous time and create more realism by using AI to your advantage. :) A

@@floppy12k I totally get it. It's just that I had a lot of trouble getting Midjourney to "tailor" the solution to my very specific needs. I would love to see some of your work and know more about your proces if you'd be willing to share? Even do a video with you if you'd be so inclined? Can you reach out to me at jakers3+youtube@gmail.com? We could have a better back and forth and you could share some before/after images. I agree with you that its huge opportunity to save time an pump it upp several levels, just didn't have the same success (or same patience, lol?) as you!
