I've used a fendt 1050 to pull a tile plow, it has the big wide duals and it works really well. Way better than the 9560rt that we used to use, the tracks don't work well in damp conditions.
Ever since I ran a Fendt 615LS by myself years ago, I have always been a great fan of Fendt, And I'm happy to know they are offering you some good service. Don't matter what brand, model, color or what ever, they all break down. What matters is how long, how often and at what cost.
Brian, we have a 6 ft. pull type plow we pull with a heavy 9400 JD. We still run out of traction occasionally, especially pulling the 8” boot. Keep tiling, it will make you money.
I do not generally comment. Your vedio I never miss. You come off as you are. Great job on your platform. Great farmer and producer. Russell in Tucson, AZ
We plow tile with a 9230 John Deere on 1100 LSWs with the wide lugs. If you need an idea of how good they grip on the plow we sheered the key stock off of an axle😂
That is AWESOME! There are not too many companies out there like that. I'm not sure if you can, but could you show the outlet on the main line? I know that you are not done but curious if there is water coming out and how much
Tell you your wrong? I don’t even understand what you guys are doing. Long way from a Massy-Ferguson and a Green twin popper. I really enjoy watching the big farm work and go Bucs!
I like your fuel tank nozzle hanger 👌 reminds me of ours ...when I replaced the old nozzle the new did not come with a hanger so high-tensil fence wire it was...was only suppose to be temporary but don't fix it if it ain't broke 😂
we accully priced a 140hp fendt and it was kinda rediculas pricey for $299,980 at the dealer here and a 211hp kubota m8-211 here canada at my dealer was $130,100 with loader, bucket, forks, and duabble auger blower
Your right. Got 714 with loader in 09. Got over 7500 hours now. Now major breakdowns. Only ones have been other manufacturers (starter ,alternator etc) easy bolt on fix. Duetz motor is excellent). Our family has had 11 different makes of tractor since 1960 and the fendt has been the standout of them all by a mile. I will not buy any other brand now.
@@Rcod2013 We had a 724 Gen 6 on demo. They say never drive your dream vehicle as you will always be disappointed. I found the whine in the transmission just the right pitch to send me mad. I wouldn't drive another if you gave it to me for free. Can still hear the same whine on Mike Mitchells 724 Gen 7 as well!!!!
And I find the whine of the hydraulic fan moto on the air seeder maddening to, but I still use it because the air seeder is so much more efficient than the old standard drilll. Plus the running costs of a fendt are less than any other comparatively speced brand.
@@bobwest2807 yeah the 724 was my dream machine until I drove it, was quite dissapointed tbh and couldn't wait to get back in my Deere. I can't deny the bigger Fendts are comfy but everyone I know who runs one has had either the engine or gearbox explode right after the 8000 hr warranty limit. The 10 series are more reliable as they run MAN engines.
@@bobwest2807 Mike Mitchell doesn't have a Gen 7 (which is model year 2023), but got a new Gen 6 a year ago, The main difference is probably that Mike's Gen 6 has a Deutz engine which will never start when it's extremely cold as you can see in Mike's videos. The new Fendt 700 Gen 7 however as an AGCO Power CORE engine, which is used for the first time in the Fendt 700 series. The AGCO engine might start better in the cold than the Deutz. You would hope so anyway, and the AGCO engines are developed and made in a bit colder climate in Finland than the German Deutz engines. Both Gen 6 and 7 has a big LCD monitor instead of the traditional instrument cluster on gen 1-5 as seen on Mike's previous 720.
AGCO leaves a lot to be desired on the reliability front. As someone who worked for a company that uses Agco as a supplier, I have seen the warranty data to back that up.
From someone that runs every brand and does not have a favorite, AGCO is still best in my opinion. And Fendt is still in my eyes a better tractor then most out there, until the day it comes something better we will still run Fendts.
@@DumbOhioFarmboy okay to be wrong? Its my opinion. We run alot of tractors and we run every brand, so at least i can stay neutral. Can you say the same?
Fendt has already replaced your brand new 700 series Gen 6 with the Gen 7 for model year 2023. @@ITubeTooIncFendt 700 Gen6 is not replaced by Fendt 700 Gen7. Both series coexist now and Fendt did not announce to stop the Gen7. It's right that Mike Mitchell had problems to start his 724 under very cold conditions, but that is not a general problem of these engines. Maybe something with the pre-warming unit was wrong. A technician gave a detailed description in the comment section of Mike's video.

I like the Black Fendt.
The best Tractors are the ones that start and run all day.
Those aren’t made anymore
@@rudgerhotsmaBelarus MTZ tractor 😅
And fendt it’s that Tractor
Best looking tractor just by design aswell. It truly looks like a beast and how you want a tractor to look like!
just bought a fendt 720. never had anything but deere so hopefully it works out. there's alot of buttons and switches kinda scares me!! 👍
Yeah but they are all color coded. I think all the yellow are pto buttons all the green are engine and so on. Once you get that down it isn’t to bad
How do you like it 1 year later?
Brian, we have a 6 ft. pull type plow we pull with a heavy 9400 JD. We still run out of traction occasionally, especially pulling the 8” boot. Keep tiling, it will make you money.
We run 2 fendt 1 is a 1038 others a 1042 qith grouser silage blades. They can push up a semi load of corn silage in one pass
I have to agree with you. we have 12 900 series Fendts and couldn't be happier
That thing is beautiful it’s on the nicest tractors I’ve ever seen in my life😅😅
Love your channel have a great night.
Good luck finishing tiling Brown Farms
John Mellencamp, Small Town, track 2 on Scarecrow CD at 4:45, good tune 👍
Never ran a fendt. But anyone I've known to have one say you can't beat em

I appreciate that!

I'm partial to them blue New Holland tractors but I like em all
Will never buy blue again. Not much better than Chinese.

a bale spike would be good to pick up the rolls of tile and load them
If you could get a tile plow to work on a steam tractor, I think the steam tractor would be tough to beat.
Except in wet conditions! It would make a great anchor!

I’ve laid a lot of field tile back in my day
Absolutely love fendt we have 2 722’s 2 516’s and a 513 at a work for snow removal and we use one of them in the summer on our 15’ batwing mower
That’s a nice warranty to have
One of Welkers big buds would pull that tile plow
No big buds ever came with 3-point hitches though.
get that d8 setup for tile then yall have it licked! love the content! happy farmin
I like everything about Fendt except the red wheels.
Sweet Vid, Bri, Bro, Dad. Never seen pipe in that layout for a good reason. Very Interesting.

You should give a CLAAS Axion/xerion a try!
If fendt is anything like the newer style Massey Fergusons with the sisu agco engines they have remarkable power and very good on fuel
The black Fendt is pretty sharp looking.

Go for fendt then you will see why

Maybe slap some triples on it for tiling
Laid a lot of field tile back in my day
Instead of "power ladder" it will be "Power screen!"

Good show
THE FENDT BLACK BEAUTY IS SHARP.
Fendt is the best tractor I have ever owned period
Wow Brian…you sure know how to get farmers riled up! Surely it’s not on purpose? 😂😂
Me? No I wouldn’t do that
Do you own the big Volvo truck? That might make a great self-propelled grain cart at harvest!
Good manure spreader tractor
You need triple tires like Mike Mitchell has.
Row trac would be my vote for the best tile plow horse. More flotation spins out easier.
PRIUS grease spot 😂!! 10 o’clock paw would say get up a little earlier bud 😢😢 !!! Oooh good man you paid for it 😂😂warranty!!! Thanks much sir !!!
Tractors are cool! That’s all.
Bring on planting season can’t wait love the videos

From this angle , the newer hoop barn looks really short ...
Brian.. How did your dad and yourself learn how to operate all the heavy equipment. Past experience or on the job training
Just hopped in and started pushing buttons lol
Nice video. Thanks. The black Fendt is beautiful. Sorry about the Ohio State women getting beat. I wanted to watch two Big Ten teams in the Final Four
You’re wrong. Lol just being difficult. Of course John Deere is best. Just being difficult again. Love the video’s. Have a safe planting season.
Another great video guys....❤❤
That is a good looking tractor
How long is each of the different sizes of tile roles?
What about a tractor with tracks?
Need a house and shop update.
Like the Black !
Love your kids get the same response as mine; "Oh really, cool. Let's go." Ha
You should just upgrade for the display and black color. DO EEETTT!

How many lefties do you have in your crew? Lefties are cool
3 or of 4 I think
I think some gleaner silver on the rims of that fendt what make her stand out

Nothing like an IH tractor to get the job done
IH and NH are same power train so no difference. Not much better than Chinese.

That’s a matter of a opinion because I don’t think they are just watch Mike Mitchell!
