“Empty” really is a great song that talks about his feelings. “Lean With Me” is also a great song about him talking about his drug use and how he feels about it.
I'm glad juice wrld caught your eye, he's different. He just hits different. You really should try to do start w juice wrld since he helped grow the channel (out of NF and juice I'd say juice is your poster child for sure) you should try to do album reactions of his earlier stuff then up. People eat that up like crazy. And I'm sure us long time juice fans would finally love a new perspective on his older stuff that no one gets too
5:29 Juice grew up in the suburbs off Chicago and his dad left right away, his mom didn't let him listen to rap and they way he first started to like rap was his cousins playing it for him. (He also popped pills for the first time at 13)
Juice wrld and X definitely helped me through a lot. Years ago I lost my gf to a car crash.. the first time it happened she just needed speech therapy having suffered from sever aphasia. I helped her learn English and as she was re-learning Korean I would learn it as well to help her. The second accident put her in the hospital for good, she seemed fine and always had this act for recording voice messages when we didn’t get to talk. She recorded her last voice message that night and didn’t wake up in the morning. Loosing her put me back in a dark hole, going to a school where I was bullied heavily daily not just for having much but for being black (went to a majority white school). Beatings everyday, I had no one to turn to once my brother left for the navy. Failing grades. Depression, anxiety it went away once I met her even though I was still being bullied and in darkness. With her around it was like it couldn’t hurt me, but after her passing it all came back with such strength. Those thoughts of ending it, were strong. Juice’s music and X was definitely a strong hold. Especially Juice’s songs righteous and Star struck
I saw his documentary and you can see it really fits who he was too. Because he was still such a joyous kid in a way that loved music and loved vibing.

@@EduardoTeske I don’t agree with the last bit you said. I think it’s perfectly healthy to feel the same emotions he sings/raps about. There actually exist a song about his father, it's called "Lifes A Dungeon". It is unreleased, however you can still listen to it on youtube. He made the song after his dad passed away. I would love to see your reaction to it, the song is really deep as well
This is the song he was singing in the documentary. He freestyled the last verse in the doc as well. One of my favorites! “Count the wins sometimes, ‘cause you always lose”

If there is one thing that probably made his condition alot worse than it was, that his dad died when he was 20. That probably lead into more depression, more reasons to take drugs, etc... he also made a song about his father right afterwards, called "Life's a Dungeon", something you can also see in the Documentary. And after that it got more and more critical until, yes.... talking about songs again, Empty is definely a really good choice, also Legends, a song he made to XXXTENTACION's and Lil Peep's deaths. besides that, in Make it out alive he sings about his life in general, alot of things, i dont even think about drugs really, but about general life stuff... if i can think of any other song to react to which has alot of content in it i'd highly suggest "Sometimes" and "For My Brothers/Lost Too Many". these are really strong songs, especially Sometimes is a really well known unreleased song by many, many people. idk if Lost Too Many is that known but he is talking about real stuff there, everytime i hear the song it feels like he is crying out for help and rage of why something happened. kinda like Wishing Well, Legends, Robbery..... XD really great video, keep the content up!
I have to say thank you! I just listend to his songs because it sounds so well and its just chillin, but after those videos i listen to his song a other way and i can relate the feelings!
Definitely went down like you said at the end in terms of the recording session. Most of his songs were done entirely freestyle and not written. In the documentary that recently came out on HBO, producers were saying he would freestyle a hit song, play it back, freestyle another hit song, and then say "pick the best one" and move on to another beat.
Tom I and many others can say that we really appreciate the effort & the work you do in these videos. and it really is like some type of therapy to ppl on here for ppl who just wanna listen to music. keep it up! 👍🙌

Hi I have a friend too, he’s so scared that without the pills he wont be the same person, he thinks he will lose his family, it’s so tough. How does a person like that make that decision to lose everything ie; job, kids family when they can keep just taking the drugs till the reaper comes??
You should do “ Life’s a Duengon” he speaks on the passing of his father. ( fun fact he performed a show just hours filling his father’s passing then went straight to the studio and freestyled that song)
A song that most people dont have on their Radar and is by far one of the more emotionally hitting ones of Juice wrld is "734". It tells a story about him being lost in a relationship , that by telling out of his lyrics , mustve been abusive and something he got stuck with. It mightve been one of the causes of him spiralling down the path he chose and would probably really be around ur alley. :)
The lyric "counting up the blues" can also refer to $100 bills highlighting how he is still the same person before all the money but the materialistic lifestyle has led him on a path of being "lost and confused" perpetuating drug use... just another perspective
Before juice WRLD passed he agreed that he needed to go to rehab and he was scheduled to go into rehab that week. Unfortunately according to one of his close friend he wasn’t going to get help, but rather to lower his tolerance to the drugs. At the end of the day I’d like to think he knew he needed help and he was talking the some of the first steps towards getting help.
