This is the best video you've ever done (from a coach's point of view) because it shows the thought process behind designing and progressing the drills you use. You guys also work well as a team, there's a chemistry there where everyone is comfortable inputting. I'm not a big fan of unopposed training but you're building in scanning and decision making with multiple players so it's more game like. Don't think I've ever seen a video like this where you see behind the scenes coaching workshops so would welcome more.
Your every session is Very Impressive. I try my 12 year old son to follow your steps. It's developing his skill gradually and nicely... Thanks for sharing ...
Very interesting. Thank you for sharing. Good to see that you’re using the resources that you have (other good coaches) to develop your sessions. I would be very interested to see how you make note of of your drills, be it on paper or digitally somehow. I find my notes on paper aren’t enough to capture the complexities of some drills and I haven’t found anything app wise user friendly enough to commit to either. There was an old vid where you had your note book and promised us a look but never caught a look at it.
Hi hi ! Brilliant coaching content coach Joner! Am from south-africa and everyday hooked into the youtube videos...iv been a member now for about 3 months..just checking in any new videos coming soon in the membership area.and also the apparel...will it be possible to courier to south-africa...thanks
I used to do stuff like the first drill a lot until a lot of coaches from a lot of levels said it was useless for awareness because youre simply reacting to a color and not reacting to the situation (i.e defender steps to far up opening space) so i usually try to stay away from colors and numbers unless practicing checking shoulders and instead do game situation or free dribbling with different triggers
so you just introduce young players to the concept of defenders opening up space, explain that to them thoroughly, and they just gain that situational awareness from words? ?? or do you think maybe this might apply more to say a new player who's wanting to step their game up, but they're still working on handling the ball......
It works! It's helped create a good habit of scanning. When training it's hard too practice real situations if you don't have a team with you. Therefore, you have to practice good habits that will help you in games. Example: Scanning, first touch, communication, dribbling. Pros train simple and go over the basics over and over again. Good job Joner!@@ThatsMyKeeper

Love it, great to see the on the fly planning and adaptation 👊
What is the tri coloured toy? Looks a lot easier than trying to hold 3 cones
Would be interested in finding that tool as well, extremely useful and great to keep the drill flowing
What coaching qualification do you coaches hold.
🥰
First one ⚽️
Lovely son
What app do you use on your iPads for teaching scanning? The one that flashes colors and numbers.
Is your app for coaches who are looking for some training ideas??
