Yeah, I know what you mean. I've pulled English packs from gold tiers before, however, so this was the first time I had pulled any Japanese vintage from PokeRev packs. I don't complain too much about it because I love all those original artworks.
Poke rec put booster boxes of every set dide, nothing scummy about it. Most mystery packs are full of vintage light packs. At keast you have chances at heavy wizards of the coasts sets in his.

I understand where you're coming from. I really wanted Wizards of the Coast myself, but I'm not complaining about the Japanese packs. I'm a nostalgia guy so having the same artworks as Wizards of the Coast sets was enough to satisfy me.
Yep, he also conveniently avoided my callout that you can literally FEEL the weight and dimension difference in Rainbow packs (because you get multiple internal baggies). That’s the only one he couldn’t deny. Ah well. I still like him for the most part but I do see that he has either burned out or something. He just doesn’t seem into it. Aside from that, his views are garbage compared to Deeppocketmonster who gets 4x as many views with less than half as many subs. To me, if he’s supposed to be top dog in the community of creators, he needs to put way more effort into his editing (which is atrocious), and just his creative endeavors. I don’t care for Leonhart but dang if he don’t at least try different things man. He’s gotta make some changes…
You are a legend for doing this! Dropping 3k like it's 3 dollars! You should make a short on the 3x back Zards! Also, u hitting that Mew was special to see! In regards to the overall tier pack selection, the higher tiers should yield better packs. You're essentially getting packs that cost Rev less than $3 each. The gold tier should start off with the best of S&S Evolving Skies, then maybe Cosmic Eclipse from Sun & Moon, Evolutions from XY, amd then the high roller pack. Throwing in 3 dollar green tier packs from hitting gold is an insult. U figure he's making at least $40 per green, $30 per red. He's only losing on gold tier and above, and there are very few of those per 100 made. Least he could do is give better 5 pack selection. Other than that, it's a cool concept and seems fun. However, I'd never pay $60 for a 90% chance of getting $15 worth of packs. But seeing u pull $100-$200 packs is actually very cool. Thanks for doing this and sharing!

You probably flew through US college, you can critically think. You'll be fine in your career lol. A booster pack is already a mystery pack. In statistics you learn combinations (like a 100 level course), use probability and combinations (remember the "5!" on your TI83) so take that combination number and simply multiply the odds you see here in the green packs and you're chances are already drastically bad. Poke Phil did us an even better favor by giving us a very large sample size, so use the amount of gold packs he pulled / the total number of mystery packs, then do the combination formula "5!" on that and you'll find that no matter how cool pokerev's videos are, you instantly lower your chances of pulling anything good by a large amount lol.
I'm so glad you organized by sets. It is far more exciting to watch and build up anticipation for older packs at the end. I get why others open the colored pack as they go so people have to watch the whole video instead of skipping to the end. Anyway you did pretty pretty good on the B&W sets. Don't know if you still read comments almost 2 weeks after you posted the video, but how much did a whole case of those cost you if you don't mind sharing it?g

every single special pack you opened(green,red,silver) did not need to be torn lol. you can just open them like a ziplock bag. theyre not heat-sealed or anything
$2900 for 300 packs = $9.66 You got a few more due to the rainbow pack. Not sure if this worth a try.. I’ve bought almost $6k on Pokemon Cards for the channel. I’m debating if buying 50 will worth the money or just get screwed lol. I’m interested on the older packs, I already got like 10 ETBs each of recent collections, so I’m still calculating if it’s better to buy sealed ETBs or booster bundles/boxes
50 was definitely a HUGE gamble and I knew it wouldn't pay off money-wise. I just love mystery boxes and figured I'd buy the maximum allowed per order and make an experience out of it for everyone to enjoy. Any way we look at it, Pokemon cards period are a gamble, even just opening sealed product. You never know what you're going to pull. It's best to just have fun with it and only risk what you're comfortable with.

For example all the Paldea Evolved as one opening, all the Pokemon Go as one opening and so on? Because I can pause the video and check how many packs you got per collection, so then I can make the decision haha.
@@PokeFX_Tube I did. In all of my openings, I reveal the packs first and then group by set and open each set one by one. I like doing it that way so that I can save the best for last and not rush through it.

Absolutely. An opening this big was meant to also give potential buyers a better idea as to what packs you can pull so you can decide on whether you'd still like to try them out for yourself or not.

I don't get mystery packs because they are usually bad but the poke rev stuff seems pretty legit and theres a good chance you might get a good pack so I might get one.
I totally understand how you feel about mystery products. They are definitely a huge gamble a majority of the time, but I do enjoy the PokeRev packs. You really do get a nice selection of packs, in my opinion.
Its crazy that you pulled only Japanese out of 3 gold packs. That is not what is shown on the back of the pack tier list or on the description on the Pokecave store.
You raise a good point, but I have pulled Heartgold & Soulsilver packs from gold tiers, so this one seemed to be an exception. I am personally fine with it even though it's not specifically stated that Japanese vintage packs are a possibility, but I know that wouldn't satisfy a majority of the people who open this product. I definitely understand where you're coming from.
HAHA! Yeah, I know. The last one that sold on Ebay at the time of editing this video. Listings since then have sold for much more obviously. lol. I think that one was just an outlier.
Yes, it did. It took me about 2-3 weeks of half days to fully finish it. It was around 4-5 hours of video cut down to an hour. It was a wild ride for sure. LOL!

Those were the mystery booster packs from Mystery Poke Slabs. I trust them and have been ordering from them for quite a while now. Their mystery booster packs usually have a surprising amount of Sun & Moon packs in them.
First watch for your channel but not be the last either but defo gotta say man yea Ur crazy bruh an extremely lucky with the case u literally got all the tiers in 1 case. 100% paid off

That's what I'm hearing. I haven't really looked into it a whole lot, but I'm not a fan. Takes all the mystery and the fun out of ripping packs and makes it easier to pawn off all the light packs on people.
Pretty much, but I still didn't want to assume that the odds would be guaranteed. Gotta tread lightly with what mystery products promise, but PokeRev is good on his word and honors the odds stated. That's one of the reasons I bought a full case so that I can put the odds to the test. He definitely passed.
I was absolutely stunned. I was just kidding around and then we kept pulling them. It was nuts! If the hyper rare had been in the next pack too, I don't know what I would've done. LOL!

You have to tear the top off first before you can open up the bag.

Not sure if this worth a try.. I’ve bought almost $6k on Pokemon Cards for the channel. I’m debating if buying 50 will worth the money or just get screwed lol.
I’m interested on the older packs, I already got like 10 ETBs each of recent collections, so I’m still calculating if it’s better to buy sealed ETBs or booster bundles/boxes
50 was definitely a HUGE gamble and I knew it wouldn't pay off money-wise. I just love mystery boxes and figured I'd buy the maximum allowed per order and make an experience out of it for everyone to enjoy. Any way we look at it, Pokemon cards period are a gamble, even just opening sealed product. You never know what you're going to pull. It's best to just have fun with it and only risk what you're comfortable with.
@@PokeHunterPhil Yeah I agree! I will watch your video completely later today. Did you pile the packs per collection? For example all the Paldea Evolved as one opening, all the Pokemon Go as one opening and so on? Because I can pause the video and check how many packs you got per collection, so then I can make the decision haha.
@@PokeFX_Tube I did. In all of my openings, I reveal the packs first and then group by set and open each set one by one. I like doing it that way so that I can save the best for last and not rush through it.

The mic didn't record correctly and I didn't find out until the opening was already over. Mistakes happen. Just gotta work with what I have. I have a limited knowledge of the audio side of post-production, so I did the best I could with it. My apologies if it interfered with your enjoyment of the video.

This is amazing to see so many rev packs. I got a few myself and did end up with a gold and a silver, Rev's packs are legit!

I don't get mystery packs because they are usually bad but the poke rev stuff seems pretty legit and theres a good chance you might get a good pack so I might get one.
I totally understand how you feel about mystery products. They are definitely a huge gamble a majority of the time, but I do enjoy the PokeRev packs. You really do get a nice selection of packs, in my opinion.

Its crazy that you pulled only Japanese out of 3 gold packs. That is not what is shown on the back of the pack tier list or on the description on the Pokecave store.
You raise a good point, but I have pulled Heartgold & Soulsilver packs from gold tiers, so this one seemed to be an exception. I am personally fine with it even though it's not specifically stated that Japanese vintage packs are a possibility, but I know that wouldn't satisfy a majority of the people who open this product. I definitely understand where you're coming from.

Yes, it did. It took me about 2-3 weeks of half days to fully finish it. It was around 4-5 hours of video cut down to an hour. It was a wild ride for sure. LOL!

Those were the mystery booster packs from Mystery Poke Slabs. I trust them and have been ordering from them for quite a while now. Their mystery booster packs usually have a surprising amount of Sun & Moon packs in them.

That's what I'm hearing. I haven't really looked into it a whole lot, but I'm not a fan. Takes all the mystery and the fun out of ripping packs and makes it easier to pawn off all the light packs on people.

No. 50 is the limit with the wave that I ordered from. I would assume it's still 50, but I'm not sure if that changed with the restock or not.

Pretty much, but I still didn't want to assume that the odds would be guaranteed. Gotta tread lightly with what mystery products promise, but PokeRev is good on his word and honors the odds stated. That's one of the reasons I bought a full case so that I can put the odds to the test. He definitely passed.
