I have a 6450 made in 1995. I SBR'd it to 10.5". I love that rifle. It is accurate and suppressed it is very quiet. I generally shoot 135 or 147 gr. 9mm through it.

I SBR’d mine about two years ago. Bought the 6450 back in the early 2000’s and then found a Colt SMG parts kit a couple years ago with a complete upper. I love this little gun!

Metalform makes the factory mags for Colt. Usually non Colt stamped mags from Metalform are considerably less costly.

I myself have one of these as well! Fine little carbine!

From what I’ve heard, the Colt SMG couldn’t pound for pound compare as an equal to the MP5 because the MP5 operating system has much less recoil and it was already well established with elite military units. I think the Colt is great myself and intend to get one soon.

Agree culture matters. Glock mags look like trash on an AR. Colt mags are ubiquitous, and although never used in regular military service, are at least a throwback to the US stick mag 45 SMGs of old.

cool video. i did see my alert was not turned on but is now. i have an original one of these also and they are nice. has all the factory parts on it along with a bunch of "leo only stamped 32rd mags". i definitely will be keeping mine. the colt stick mags are pretty common and cheap. on a side note i have a 9mm IWI tavor x95 that also takes colt stick mags and is a great shooter. at the time the 9mm was better to practice with on both platforms due to ammo price and could shoot at a "pistol only range" if need be. cool series as i enjoyed your other out of the box video. thanks.

Who makes the thread on fake suppressor?
I have a 9 mm Olympic arms upper in 16 inch. It takes 9 mm Sten mags that have an extra block welded on them so they fit in a normal receiver. I’ve been debating cutting down the barrel to a 10.3 and putting the upper on a pistol lower.

Sweet Vid. How exactly is the barrel configured I’d love a clone of that exact look.

I am building something like this but using Glock lower receiver 4 Glock mags hopefully be more reliable and cheaper mags .
