The day the queen passes away my heart will broke, i regard her like my grandma, she is so sweet and is a symbol one of the last moral values of the uk. Oh God, send her victorious, happy and glorious
@@yortsemloh1156 So will her kids have their hearts broken. She is their mum at the end of the day, and they've just lost their dad with Philip dying. At least our country has one thing the envy of the world, our Royal Family. I don't think even Boris would want President Johnson.
Britten's arrangement is excellent. The choir, not so much. They start off flat, despite having gotten the pitch from the orchestra just seconds earlier, and keep sinking until the orchestra starts playing in the second verse and brings them to pitch.
Britten on Britain. Is there anything better. And remember we do not live in "UK", we live in The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The sound of Britten and the name of our country resound magnificently. Be proud of both.
This is beautiful. I really think history will repeat itself. No world war during Queen Victoria's reign, she was the glue that held everything together, then along came 1914. The same will happen again. Sadly. Long may she reign!!
What are you talking about? If the Queen dies in 10 years (I think it will be closer to 5 but who knows), Charles will be 80, William will be 46 and George will be 15. Charles may be dead by then (I doubt it, he doesn't smoke, eats a very good diet, exercises regularly and is thought to be in excellent health) but God forbid a tragedy, William will not and George will not. Even if all of them were to die, we would have Queen Charlotte. If she went, it would be King Louis (Has there ever been a King Louis in the U.K.'s history?) And if something happened to all of them, we would have King Henry.
The queen made a promise as a young woman. She has kept that promise to us. I'm thankful to have lived in her reign.
Till the end

she's just a gracious and kind granny and boss to many places in the world indeed!
i am a german, forgive. i adore the queen too. my respect to the royals and your great country.
She truly is one of the last vestiges of what a real lady is supposed to be.

Why not march into HEAVEN itself?
Excellent rendition...
Gorgeous choir

This is absolutely fantastic. I love this so much. God Save the Queen. Long may she reign.
Wow! The alto part sounds really strong! You rarely here that now and days.

I thought the same thing. Very strong alto's.
Rip Lillibet ❤️

The arrangement is totally shit not to mention your sickening diatribe.

Great performance and the Church is beautiful too.
GOD SAVE THE QUEEN
God save the Queen !!!
This should be played at the Queen's funeral.
God save the King will be played at the Queens funeral.
Charles, William and George would probably be dead by then.
Not Wrong man ahaha

Superb
I'm not a British but I'm proud to be an British
oops, those final trumpet notes went somewhere else...otherwise great version
Beautiful !!!
@1:20!!! yeeas!!
Dios y la virgen les bendigan con amor y paz
It is not a fair comparison but after the rendition of the Britten variant at the Last Night of the Proms, this is a lacklustre performance.
Good performance apart from that trumpet at the end... oh god there wasn’t a worse place to go so wrong!
Love this. Love our country. Hate Brexit.
Trumpets - That doesn't sound as good as you think it does.
a tad flat in the beginning
Pretty awful effort, I'd say, on the part of the arranger.
