You saved and had a buffer when you needed to draw on it. That is a good thing. It wasn't the category that you saved it for, but that really doesn't matter. I felt similar when our new shed this year was more than we had naively budgeted for. I hated emptying out some other category envelopes and it did leave me feeling a bit deflated for a while. You will get back on track, you already have the mindset. 😍
I've already started Christmas shopping. I get some stationary from Planner Peace when I can access my Christmas Club account. I also have some Chocolate Nesquick for my brother in law, I start buying it when it's on special at the supermarket in late October/early November and I used the money that was in my Carocash Christmas Savings.
Honestly, i have stopped watching. I stuff smaller then you and the negative talk and apologies on every video about being sorry to stuff so little and that everything is going down is what made me stop. Not the amount you stuff. It was just too much and made me feel awful about my small amount.
Hi Sarah, Thanks for voicing your opinion, I know that’s not easy to do. I don’t apologise on my videos about the amount, on the contrary, I’ve stated plenty of times people stuff less and do more with it and I’m impressed by that. I’m apologising because of lack of consistency of late in my uploading schedule as what my viewers are used to seeing me do. I’m grateful I’m able to cash stuff ANY amount. It’s a shame I’ve been mistaken for being inconsiderate, that’s not my intention at all. I always say any budget can allow for any budget achievements. I hope one day you’ll come back and watch. Take care 🖤
😊
