Played it when I was 7. Found the secret room and figured out a glitch that allowed me to beat the game on difficulty 5 and saw the best ending ever. Think I was the only kid to figure out the cheat and beat it on max difficulty!
I totally remembered that last level, and I can recall playing it on the Commodore 64, and when you got to that point in the game you felt good enough, because it was so hard to go any further without any more lives, and I don't think I remember the next level though? I played it at my friends house, and he hogged it!
After way too many hours of playing this game, I was able to make it to the final level. Unfortunately, there was a bug. Just about when you were about to complete the final level, the screen locked up - got to the same place many times and on different PCs - same conclusion. Even tried to get through to Kevin, the game's creator to see if he wanted to fix the bug. Never found him.
17:25 That 4th room is just cruel level design, at the end you have to do a diagonal leap of faith to maybe hopefully get that bottom-right key before you hit the floor
@MaximumPayne12 That's on the highest difficulty level (or higher levels?) - I can't believe anyone could beat even the first level on the highest difficulty setting. The 'bots would also follow you and as I recall they move much faster than you on the higher difficulty. The difficulty choice was also confusing because 1 was the hardest and 5 was the easiest too.
I remember playing this as a kid, although i remember it being called jump Joe
I remember the same thing, maybe the .exe file was jumpjoe.exe?
@@prowokator I definitely recall it as Jump Joe! Either it was the .exe file or a Mandela Effect ;)
JUMPJOE2.EXE :)
HOURS of my childhood life in the mid-1990s were invested in playing this game. Thank you for the memories, Luca.

I remember the enemies sometimes fired some kind of laser and you had to jump over it, why they didn't shoot here?
