Hamlet has a scene in which the protagonist avoids killing the villain because he thinks the villain was praying in a confessional (One of the ways to redeem yourself in Catholicism) meaning he couldn't condemn the villain's soul to hell like he wanted. Circles of protection are a form of prayer, meaning that by protecting his hamsters, therefore praying, Gundham (who saw himself as the villain), redeemed his soul.
i think the worst part about kaede’s execution is that she was most likely still alive when she was crushed, as it can take a couple of seconds to a minute to be killed during a hanging.
her execution went on for 8 hours, but your right, kaede was probably still alive before crushed since everytime she stands on a note, she gets a few seconds to breathe.
If in correct, mikans execution was about her fear or large things and being oversexualised, + what we saw was what she saw (I saw another comment say this, dk if it's completely true.)
So a little explanation about mikans execution, mikan is scared of massive/giant things and fear of being sexualized.. so just keep thinking about it and you'll get it😅

(Spoilers of course) I noticed something about the body discovery sounds that I find quite interesting, some body discoveries reveal attributes or quirks about the characters The flute-like noise that you can hear in all of V3’s discoveries and Byakuya’s in SDR2 signal that they had fake personalities, like how SDR2 byakuya was the ultimate imposter and how the characters of V3 were all fictional And the quiet discoveries in THH signal that the characters were hiding secrets, like how Chihiro was actually a guy and that Sakura was the traitor/committed sudoku-slide

I was so sad that the dad of Chihiro died, like the brother of Asahina. The little guys they are so sad when they "died", because they're backround with awful parents hits really hard, also I like that Fukawa at least saved one. 🥺
If you watch the anime(which is also canon), you will know that the "little ultimates" did not die at all. They were just severely injured and was shown later in the anime as support characters
SPOILERS: she was the mastermind behind the whole killing game and stuff because she loved despair and wanted everyone to feel it, but after she failed, she got excited since dying meant she got to experience the ultimate despair and she even voted herself out without letting the others just because of how excited she was
