I love getting advice from a woman who actually puts Gods word ahead of her own understanding.
I hope I can be a virtuous and godly wife to my husband.

I'm not even married yet but I feel like these tips would go a long way to help us all women. Again, we need to be wise women to build our home in a godly manner.
    God bless you Bibiana

Singlehood is the perfect time to listen to content like this. If you desire marriage please listen to more content like this, daily. I make make son 20 yo and daughter 22yo (who has never dated yet) listen to content like this since they were in their teens. Including content on christian dating.

You can only change a man when he’s a baby 🍼
Everyman has a king and a fool in him which one will you feed?

I am not religious at all but I still really appreciated your message. I was really struggling with a similar situation this evening (and acutally for the past few months) and your message helped me 1)not say a lot of the things that were going on in my head, and 2)to consider what I can do to help him instead of focusing on what I need from him. Thank you for sharing this message.

God Bless you. My Pastor was just saying this week that every man has a child in him, a warrior and a king. And which ever one you speak to and encourage that is the side that will come out. So if you want to see a king, treat and speak to him as such.

I am not married yet but I am seeing someone who has expressed his interest in marrying me in the future. You have such a beautiful spirit.

Thank you so much for this inspiration! It came right on time. I am also a twin mommy. My twin boys were born 4/22/16 and it's been a huge change to our household. I find myself super hormonal and emotional but I try to make sure I am not loading too much on my husband because he does so much for our family and I appreciate him. This is a great reminder for me to keep supporting and building him up and keeping God first. I try to handle things all on my own sometimes and it results in me not taking care of myself or allowing my emotions to get the best of me. Praying for him and praying with him is and always has been the key for our marital success! Again thank you so much for this! My mood has instantly been turned around because my morning started off rough. God bless you! ❤️

what a lovely wife you are!! you really make me think of the scripture: 1 Peter 3:4 so much..., it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. What a lovely quiet and gentle spirit you have. I pray that all our marriages are strengthened.

thank you @bibiana you are right the devil is really battling with marriages right now. one thing i would like to add is that. people tend to forget that we are all different hence each marriagebis different; you can use the same concepts but learn to fine tune it to your family. like the tips you gave for example prayer, my husband would rather i pray for him and by myself than we do collectively although we pray together once a while, if i stress him all the time to pray together he gets irritated. Trust me my hubby is grounded in God he just has a different approach. That said please ladies its important to understand your spouse and family and do what works for you. God bless.

    • @BibianaYettyVlogs

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I really love what you said about marriages being different, because a lot of wives compare their husband to other husbands, especially with regard to being helpful around the house/ with the kids or his spiritual walk. If we only knew the power of being cheerleaders rather than nags. Obviously we have to use wisdom especially if their actions are unbiblical... But for simple things we wives have to stop nagging. For example, my husband and I have totally different preference on worship music and differences in the way we pray. To be honest it used to frustrate me and cause a ton foolish arguments, which was totally my fault. Imagine that arguing over the way we pray. As wives we have remember the enemy will use any door so you just have to use wisdom, remember you are team and water your OWN grass. x

Some of this information was helpful. However, I really struggle with the patriarchy of the wife "shall be silent". I get saying things in a mindful and respectful way. However, to not express yourself or your concerns or issues is to me so hard on the heart and soul to be *silenced as to not cause conflict or discomfort* for your husband. Conflict is going to come up in all relationships, and to ignore your own feelings and thoughts and keep them between yourself and God is not being true to yourself or your relationship. I vote for expressing yourself and your truth, but in a way that is not blaming or criticizing.

    • @mochamommyATX
      @mochamommyATX 5 лет назад +2

She did not say not to express your feelings, she just is focusing on being intentionally kind to the other person.

    • @teannaabraham9090

As a newlywed during this crazy pandemic I've realized that every thought does not need to be expressed. There is power in the ability to control ones tongue. And discernment is a definite gift from God. My husband is the most amazing man God ever breathe life into. I am much more happier and content with not always being right or winning an argument. Because at the end of the day a wife has the whisper of the Holy Spirit on her side. As long as your desires align with God's purpose and plan you and your husband will be fantastic partners. Im an old woman of 47. 5 months into my first and last marriage. I've been engaged 4 times before. I've grown and matured in the spirit enough to know that I've only just begun. I am merely a neophyte in the kingdom. But im so content knowing that I am doing all I can to honor God first by honoring the husband He made just for me.

I agree with everything you're saying. However, it gets frustrating feeling like I have to coddle his fragile ego and build him up, while never getting the same in return. He talks me up to other people, but when he never says any of those things directly to me, it feels more like he does that for his own image rather than mine. Sometimes I wonder if maybe he doesn't have the confidence to be direct with me.
We don't have it easy as we have twin special needs teenagers. I homeschool them, so a lot of my time and energy is caught up in them. In fact the spare time I get usually entails me trying to foster and keep alive the part of me that isn't just "mom". His energy goes towards his job, church obligations, and giving me a break a couple times a week, including letting do whatever I want on Saturdays. Man, writing this I feel bad for even saying anything. He's a very good man.
We've been married 19 years, but sometimes it feels like I'm just a part of the background for him. I didn't get so much as a card this past anniversary.
How can we make our relationship with each other more of a priority? Lately I can't stand this man who I also love dearly. It's confusing.
Sorry for the rambling rant, but felt good to get it out. I'll try the tips you gave. If anyone made it through this book I wrote and has any advice, it is appreciated. ☺

What's crazy is that there are a gazillion videos on dating....and only a few about marriage. No wonder we have a 50% divorce rate.
