I wouldn’t say clearly tbf. There’s some dodgy stuff on the line going over the players feet and discrepancies about when the ball is actually released (which is true of every offside)

Guys i don't understand you. Its offside. According to the rules it's offside, and i don't know why wouldn't we do it as the rules said. The ball goes behind the goalline so it's a goal. It's the same thing.
the point is that that’s not what the offside rule was brought in for, it was to stop attackers sitting on the edge of the penalty box and teams just hoofing it up to them.
in close offside calls, the attacker is gaining no advantage from being offside - it just happens that his kneecap is behind the last defender or something equally as stupid
This VAR ruining football haunts me from that LiVARpool moment last October, were the replay operator was the more competent one out of the VAR team, they sounded so proud when they completed the check.

I don’t think they know what the word robbed means in football terms 😂. Robbed is when something is CLEAR and OBVIOUS and the ref chooses to not agree with that. That game it was literally offside, no two ways about it. The line was drawn and it was offside. Yeah it was extremely close but that doesn’t mean they were robbed when the right choice was given.
Offside by even 1mm is still offside . VAR is helping us uphold the rules of the game . What's the Problem.

I think the whole premise of the offside rule needs to be changed. The point of the rule is to prevent the attacking team from having an unfair advantage, even if his toe was offside that gave Coventry no advantage at all. The rule should be that the attacker needs to have their entire body in front of the final defender in order to be offside

Robbery? They showed you that it was offside, happens every week in the PL and also happened plenty of times to help Arsenal this season. Was it harsh, yes. I think the offside rules bent, nobody knows what’s going on with offside now and the same to the handball rule which was not a penalty. AWB was pulling his arm behind his body not towards the ball so the decisions evened themselves out of you want to be technical so definitely not a robbery. Also no decision made Coventry concede 3 and miss two penalty’s.

Making offside calls that are beyond the precision of the cameras in the ground is literally meaningless. Zooming in to single pixel is ridiculous, if the lines don't appear separated at the standard level of zoom then it should be onside imo.
