Have similar issuse with R&S RTC1002. When changig timebase, an acquired signal vanished and/or becomes disturbed vertically
Since happens when overlaying the verier, I am betting on some sort of compositing issue. Perhaps with the signal going in such a negative range and the vernier being stationary, the compositor is throwing the signal far off screen in final render..?
Lagging like a good old 486 trying to software-render Quake.
No surprise that it sometime can't cope up with the task and overflow some memory in the background.
That thing is so lightweight. Dave nearly knocks it over everytime he touches a button. They need to ship it with a boat anchor.

What good is a scope that can run DOOM or C64 emulator, but can't function reliably like a scope.
Wow that interface is slow... I have an early analog scope with digital storage functionality from the early 90s and it is way faster than that. What happened these past 30 years?

Remember folks this isn't the second coming of Jesus. It's literally a 12-bit $400 scope with a touch screen. That's incredible and sometimes you got to temper your expectations of certain things when purchasing something like this. I think it's a great achievement but I'm definitely not going to run out and buy one.

A bug that's easy to reproduce is often easily fixed. And it's also easy to check the fix...

No need to activate vernier. Its just a piece of shit... Just had an error, and got the waveform, but now it dissappeared. It is as useful as an owon.

Go ahead, try purchasing a made in USA scope with similar specs, you may end up paying 10X the price if you're lucky.
