Lovely to see Maxwell on such good form and glad to hear he is feeling a little better. Just loved to see you both interacting in the kitchen and the quiche looks great too.
Jean and Maxwell, that was one of the most fun videos I have seen in a long time. Jean, you and Maxwell look great. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I think even I could make it. 😄
That looks yummy. Thank you both. Great to see you Maxwell. You remind me so much of my grandson. Lovely gentlemen. Jean you are a real trooper. Bless you.❤
Good evening Jean from NZ, I am again trying to catch up on your videos. These past few months have been crazy, however, I am thrilled to see Maxwell again in the kitchen with you making his favourite quiche. They certainly look delicious!! Maxwell did really well and I love watching the two of you busy in the kitchen. So glad to know that Maxwell's health is improving. We will continue to keep Maxwell in our thoughts and prayers. Thank you Jean for sharing the cooking lesson. Blessings to you and all the Trueloves. Thelma ❤❤
Oh, it looks so good! I was so proud of Maxwell for washing his hands after blowing his nose…and he wasn’t even reminded! I think Maxwell could get a part time job at a restaurant that makes a lot of breakfast meals! He was so good at breaking the eggs and cutting up the ham! Great video! It had a lot of love in it! Love to you both! Take care of yourselves! Enjoy!
Jean and Maxwell, Thank you so much for sharing your quiche recipe with all of us. I LOVED seeing you both in the kitchen baking the quiche together. Maxwell, thank you for also helping with the prep work like shopping for the ingredients. It looks just wonderful and I will be making this for Christmas morning breakfast. Both of your happy faces bring so much joy to us all. Now, go have a good rest ❤
Thank you, thank you, thank you both for brightening my day. You make a great team and the quiche look delicious. Life isn’t always easy but it can be so rewarding. Love to the Trueloves 🏴
So fun to have someone to cook with. I started my little ones early, like 2 1/2 to 3 years old. We had a deal of who got to lick the spatula, beaters, or spoon and bowl. I found a wonderful cookbook for toddlers, showing pictures of how many eggs, margarine, etc. With meals, they would get things out of the refrigerator, and help set the table (great for learning to put value to numbers), cleaning up...we just made it an adventure. Little did they realize what they were learning. 😊❤ I miss those days. I know I was tired a lot, but I enjoyed being able to stay home with my girls. ❤😊
Gosh darn it, Maxwell is so cool - love him! The quiches looked delicious, I bet Max enjoyed his piece with his freshly brewed coffee. 🥰 Thank you for sharing and I hope you were able to put your feet up for a bit.
Oh so cute! Love you two cooking your quiche! Yes, being British myself it is a popular dish! Even in summer it can be a great cold picnic dish. Served with a crispy salad and a crusty loaf …you can feed a lot of folks! This dish is actually French! The French of course are talented in the cheese and cream cuisine! Xx🤩🤩🤩
Jean and Maxwell, what a great recipe can’t wait to try it. Love Maxwell’s bits of humor too!❤ PS Maxwell, hope you get your habanero cheese next time, I’m with you there!
Such a sweet video! We love quiche, it is a good way to use left over vegetables! I like the idea of more eggs and cream and for sure a lot of cheese! It is so hard to cook when I am tired so appreciate you doing this video with Maxwell!!
Hi Jean, It is excellent timing to watch you make quiche because my daughter's fiancé is a vegetarian, and this is something easy I can serve him. I went on the hunt to Gordon's Food Service to find a vegetable lasagna for him while we eat turkey. What a lot of work the holidays are. I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving. Elizabeth
That quiche looks beautiful and it was great to see Maxwell looking so good and he's such a great help Jean!!! I'm so jealous of all the lovely cheeses you were calling out , we also have Aldi but only get cheddar and mozzarella grated in handy bags like that. Thanks to both of you for this lovely uplifting video xx
I remember cooking and baking with my children. Brings back wonderful memories. My son is a wonderful cook for his family. My 2nd daughter cooks and bakes beautifully. My #1 daughter was 30 ish before she started cooking more homemade foods and she does quite well also. Her family is a little picky so she adapts recipes to fit them. 🥰 I’m going to make your quiche for my husband and one for our neighbors.
The quiche looks so good. My husband said, "I'd eat that" so guess I'll be trying to make one. We wondered how that coffee maker worked.; Maybe Maxwell can tell us about that one day. Definitely enjoyed watching you both work together. So nice.
Thank you and Maxwell very much for sharing your quiche recipe. I love seeing you and Maxwell interacting together. He's so adorable!!! Love to Maxwell for sharing his favorite quiche dish with us. I'm going to rewatch the video and jot down the ingredients, etc.. I'm going to serve with a lovely garden salad. God bless the "Trueloves" and Happy Thanksgiving!!
Maxwell and you are such a pair. The two of you can practically read each other's mind. Wow, is that ciche rich! I did okay until the heavy cream and cheese. I'm lactose intolerant and no one in a 5 block radius would want me around. 😅 It looks wonderful, and wish I could eat it. I love ham and broccoli. I laughed at the 1 butt kitchen. My grandmother used to say that. Then we would wiggle our backside, and say we can make it work. You measure the same way I was taught! My girls, who cooked with me all the time, insist on measurements. Maxwell seems more mature, even in the last 8-12 months, but he has that wonderful sense of humor! I hope he feels proud of himself, for many things. He's got his beard he's taking care of, and working through a med change for his seizures. That has to be difficult for him. Just know that my prayers have been with you and your family, getting through this journey. ❤️🙏🙏🙏❤️
Dear Jean,I am so happy that maxwell is doing well.I am a long-term friend of your channel. Cleaning or crafting with someone is called body doubling. I do it when I talk to my sisters or children. Just thought you might like to know that it is a real thing.
What a lovely video ❤️, man alive I’ve never seen quiche like this 🥰. Have never made it as it always seems to have ‘a soggy bottom’- the pastry that is. But watching this I was absalutely drooling by the end of it, what a great recipe, was it handed down to you Jean? I’m definately gonna try and make this. Glad Maxwell is having some better days, he is a lot of fun to be around and deserves to feel better. Thank you again so much and take care dearest Jean x
Hi Jean & Maxwell! That was great! I said before I use the 9" deep dish frozen pie crust, but I did but the crusts you used awhile back for something else & still have one left. I'm going to make my next one with it. Also, I just add my ham, broccoli & cheese into the egg/milk mixture. I guess it doesn't matter as long as it all gets covered with the egg mixture. I don't have a dish that looks as deep as yours-how deep are they? And are yours 9" or larger? Thanks for sharing 🥰🥰
Thank you Jean and Maxwell for your quiche tutorial. I can’t wait to try making it.
Great to see that Maxwell is doing better. ❤
So enjoyed watching this ! Nice to see Maxwell moving about again!!! I'm sure the quiches are deliciosos! Thanks for sharing with us!!!
Love you Jean. And Maxwell, and Ian.. love your videos…..
Maxwell is the sweetest young man around.

Yummy does that ever look good 😊
Thank you 😋
I can relate, our joints age faster than the rest of our bodies
Love your pie plate! what size do you use?
It's a 9 inch pie plate
Hi Jean & Maxwell! That was great! I said before I use the 9" deep dish frozen pie crust, but I did but the crusts you used awhile back for something else & still have one left. Mine are 9 inches but deep dish
I am going to make this soon! Thank you for the recipe. Can you use fresh broccoli instead of frozen?
Yes you can but I think the frozen is better. But lots of people put in left over veg:)
I’m retired kitchen designer. I watch cooking videos, I’m guessing you are about 5’ 3”based on your Countertop heights.
Yes I am!
