So I know this is kinda random but I am so happy I found this. I am writing a story where there is a seord with s goddess trapped inside and the main character befriends her. This song in All it's forms is almost made for it. The I depend on you is the goddess and the she depends on you is the main characters friends.

As a person whose first ever anime was Re:Zero and still find it to be the best anime, I can totally see where your coming from. Like, re-listening to the song with your comment in mind, it can totally fit. The sad melody, with the triumphant turn-around half way through, and yet the nostalgic ending really makes me think of the rollercoaster of emotions the show had to offer. You just made this song so much more satisfying, here is to a good season 2!
