We just have much better wingers right now already in the wallabies and the brumbies he was stuck behind, wish he would’ve gone to another super team rather than overseas but oh well good luck to him looking forward to watching him tear up
@@Dreyno Ultan Dillane has been around for years and has never really progressed on the international stage. He wont get his place now that Iain Henderson, James Ryan, Tadhg Beirne & Ryan Baird are around. Hansen is a lot younger so the skys the limit for him to kick on.
@@harryocallaghan8082 I’m just commenting on teams letting players go who go on to be decent players elsewhere. Munster hardly expected him to gain 19 caps for Ireland when they offered him an academy contract rather than a full contract. Likewise, they probably expected Jean Kleyn to get more than 5 caps when they signed him. It’s just something that happens.
@@Dreyno that’s a gamble that happens in any team sport, not just rugby. Its likely down to man management with teams not looking at the needs of their players on an individual basis. I don’t know the situation with Kleyn as I don’t follow Munster that much (being a Scottish fan) but we had a player called Cornell du preez who blitzed the pro 14 for 3 years, we thought he would resolve our no.8 issues and then his international career never kicked off. But going back to the main subject, Hansen looks like he’ll have a pretty illustrious international career, provided he doesn’t get plagued by injuries.
I'm not Australian but they just did some unthinkable things LOL.... Get this guy back before the World Cup before its too late. Ireland is now reaping the reward🙏 Cheers Mack you go on and do your thing.
@Fit Mack Hansen plays for Connacht but I really like him despite my leaning towards Munster players You asked why Munster, I like Munster because I was born in Munster and I enjoy the culture in the fan base
Whoever recruited or spotted him for Ireland deserves a bonus! Equally disastrous for Aus I reckon looking at him now..
When he joined Connacht, I had not the slightest idea about him. He's been one hell of a signing.
Just sheer bliss to have him in Connacht, those shots of him in the air are incredible!
How did Australia let this guy go so easily like Connacht got him without much stress like the brumbies were happy to let him go
Always happens. Leinster let Tadhg Beirne go, Munster let Ultan Dillane slip through the net.

Looks like Australia's loss is Ireland's gain : )
It has to be said... Australia's loss. Glad his ma is Irish :)

Interesting prospect!
Thought he was a pure red headed Irishmen because of the scrum cap
Nah he’s only half, was surprised to tbh haha
Wanted baloucoune to start, hope he proves me wrong
Good thing he doesn't wanna play for Australia, teach them a lesson about paying rfu the same as nrl
What?
@@therugbyfanatic3379 honestly idk I'm just talking shit
Good option for six nations fantasy 😂
Starting for Ireland tomorrow but in an aussy jersey already? Yes underage but still! Not sure how I feel about that, but I guess those are the rules!
He’s half Irish so he’s more than eligible. His mums from cork, so at least he has ties unlike Lowe, and JGP
First
How the fk does he end up playing for ireland FFS!? Australian Rugby is cooked.
He is crap in my opinion
How do you feel now ? Crap !
He’s one of my favorite players in Ireland rn
And I’m as biased towards Munster as you can get
Why munster
@Fit because I was born in Munster and because they have a genuinely amazing fan base and culture
