Hi Layla! Why do records stay in my work after the status has changed? There are several now in my overdue even though they are done. I can check off checklist items but not records that don’t have a checklist. Any thoughts- thanks
Hey there! Items will be in My Work's Open Assignments tab until the "Complete" status is logged. If you have custom Statuses, that could be the root of the problem! (To confirm which of your statuses equates to "Complete" in SS's eyes, go to the Status Field and click on the "..." to Modify Field Settings and identify which has the green dot next to it.) However, if you'd like an "easy button" to get this sorted, I'd suggest reaching out to SmartSuite's support directly. There could be something else at play specifically inside your account that they could likely quickly knock out for ya! 🎉

I'm not a power user in SmartSuite but caught her overview video where shs compares this to ClickUp and if I recall the recurring tasks are one feature that Smart Suite does not have (yet) Which would explain this. 🤔 it's a deal breaker for me unfortunately which is why I remembered specifically.
If I'm understanding the pricing correctly, the free version of smartsuite only allows 5 solutions (or the clickup equivalent of lists), is that right? It seems pretty limited if that's the case but I'm just wanting to make sure. And does the free version of smart suite allow for dependencies and custom fields, or are those limited/excluded?
Oh! And right now SmartSuite doesn’t have a formal dependency feature (rumor has it it’s coming soon) so it’s currently done with Linked Records. Fortunately, SS doesn’t currently limit any field usage by plan so you’d be good to go! ☺️
@@LaylaPomper Thanks for the reply! Okay, the solutions makes more sense. I do also really like the sound of there being no limit to the number of custom fields you can have in Smart Suite. Right now I'm achieving a similar effect with tags, but custom fields would be a lot cleaner. I'll keep an eye on how SS develops.
I was about to ask you to please compare their Android App to CU, and more stuff. THEN, I noticed on the screen shot @9:14 that [real] time tracking is a feature _request_. Oh, my. I need to wait until sw gets that feature.🙄

Hey Jordan! Solutions are better compared to Spaces in ClickUp so the free plan limitation are actually eerily similar. 🙂
