@tienphuc69 It's interesting how a rat in the street in broad daylight can evoke so many strong memories. On my first return trip and on my first walk outside my hotel, the first creatures I met were 5 rats running from a small heap of garbage. I had to laugh and also remembered so many things from my first trip in 69. I had forgotten about the rats and so many other trivial things that filled up our lives.
Well, it's totally different than the US. You have to change your expectations on what can be accomplished and when. Nothing will happen as you plan. If you let things unfold, something better will happen. There's a lot more but can not talk about it to a stranger over the internet.
I spent the last four months of my tour, july thru Oct. '67 with M.P. Co. Hdq. Bn. 1st. Mar. Div. stationed near hill 327 about 2 miles from freedom hill px. We had road patrols around Danang airbase, up to namo bridge and aroung dogpatch, bud never got into Danang City. My wife and i returned twice, in 1999 and 2004. Hope to do it again in the future. Thanks for the videos.
Thanks so much. If you ever film around that area please let me know. I spent a lot of time from DaNang to Quang Tri. I have been all over the world, and I believe Viet Nam is the most butiful that I have ever seen. A lot of memories. Thanks
Thanks that's generous of you to say that. The people I work with in Hanoi don't understand me at all. i love Da nang too give me a post before you come back and we can meet.
Wow, so lucky, to live near the market and the river looks super nice! Yeah, I heard DaNang is clean and really nice now=] I'm so excited to go back and eat all the wonderful foods over there!
Thank you very much for sharing your video about our beloved Da Nang. We are coming back this summer to visit. It's a great city. I can't wait. Many thanks again.
Yes, my beloved hometown. I love this POV, lol. No matter where I go in the world, Danang is still the most beautiful city in the World to me. I'm glad that you're enjoying Danang. Danang people are very friendly. I hope to get to meet you next time I come home

I ride the scooter on that street almost everyday for the past couple months, my daughter loves the plastic butterflies along the side walk.
what a cute little chaos there, kind of reminds me on City´s in southern France(behind the tourist coast strip) or Italy
