Not a bad build as A1 Brevey provides self-healing. Meryl is kind of like a all-in-one fortitude weapon that as long as you do activate fortitude resonance, you could play as a tank.
Not sure. I already have all volt weapon except Meryl on a6 when the test start so I can't test lower advancement. On my test Meryl have about 50% damage increase from a1 to a6. So you might really not get damage boost with only a1 Meryl. But Meryl is easier to use on actual combat than Nola.
in one line up, you used yanuo matrice, does the 4pc work? doesnt it need a frost weapon for the 4pc to work?
Yes it works. Volt-Frost dual element weapons like Meryl Ironheart and Rei could also fufill that requirement of yanuo 4pc
I have mimi and brev, do you think it will be fine with the new meryl as a tank?

Only the enemy control part doesn't work. The damage buff on A2 and A5 still have effect
