Stretching for a long time needs extra extra care or you get a lot of breakage because of the two textures. I think that's all this is. Your hair still looks good. Edit: I wrote this before she said it.
Hey Kurtizia. Your hair is looking great! Like you said, less texture in your hair so it looks a little thinner but it still has a lot of body for that length. Looking beautiful as always 💜
I also noticed when you relaxed your hairstylist spread the relaxer from root to end... I think that too contributed you’re hair being over processed toward the end - in addition to everything you mentioned ... thus it’s now thinner.
I relax my roots once in a while and leave the rest natural because only my roots are very unruly. I deep condition & trim regular to prevent breakage.
Love your hair... I usually stretch to about 12 to 16 weeks depending on my new growth... you will reach your hair goals... by the way your makeup is flawless...🌺
My hair just broke off so bad from stretching relaxers ...when It was just so nice and healthy😞.. I need to figure my stretching time ,and I already have a hard enough time trying to retain length
Yes I usually stretch for 6 months but this time I wanted to go a little longer and look wat happened ... so I’m definitely not stretching longer than that
Stretching relaxers depends on your natural hair texture. Someone with 3A or 3B can stretch for months on end with much less breakage. A person with 4B or 4C will have serious damage if they try it to go 6 months with two very different textures. Olaplex and protein treatments help alot but I wouldn't go more than 12 - 16 weeks!
@@logitech0300 never compare your hair to someone else’s. Everyone hair quality, porosity and thickness is different. You have to figure out what are you not doing and what are you suppose to do to better your hair regimen. Good luck 🙂
That’s a good question I was actually thinking about that a few days ago so to answer your question.... yes I will continue self relaxing and probably go to the salon once a year or once every two years to probably trim my ends or to steam... basically just to check up with a pro to see if I’m making progress
