Great show Drew! Finally get to see some past shows i missed from working alot. Stuck with the flu in bed now enjoying these shows! Man This is one of my favorites!
First of all really great guy and awesome show!! Then again, I am really happy, he came out of this more than just alive. Even. Fantastic!! He once spit fire over my head and Pig Champion R. I. P. played one of his last shows standing up. One of the greatest Bands ever!! Much Love from Germoney
Portland legend in the house! Saw PI a handful of times back in the late 80s and early 90s as a dumb teenager growing up in PDX. Jerry and Tom and all of those guys were super cool. Right in the midst of the crossover movement as I was seeing DRI, COC, The Accused, Wehrmacht, etc. etc. was PI with the Mayhem guys in there just killing it every time. Those PI records still hold up well and seeing them with The Accused at Bossanova pre-Covid on their final tour was the best. Great to see Jerry and PI get so much love around the world. Well deserved!
Glad to see this come out. When you told us in the chat a while back to choose guests Jerry was mine. The guy for real.put his body on the line to play his music. Inspired me to be a better lyric and zine writer back in the day. Drew you did a great interview as well, one of the rare times when you get to hear one of your heroes speak and they exceed your expectations!!!
Amazing show! Jerry is a great guy...I'm a big Poison Idea fan but had no idea he'd released this 3 part autobiography. Definitely getting my mitts on those soon
Jerry is the man. Honored to have been introduced to PI & have all 3 of his books autographed. What’s even bigger than that is that this video has more views than almost everything else on the channel
Slayer Hippy was an amazing drummer one of the most powerful ever. He was fast and fluid as well!! He wrote the whole song "Hangover Heart Attack" which was one of PI's best songs. RIP Steve Hanford!!!
@@Half_Plus_SevenI did that Dead End America 7” with Steve, Blaine Accused & some others and got it finished right before he passed. Great friend amazing person! R.I.P.
P.I. should've been bigger than the Dead Kennedys and many other bands from that era. They never benefited from a "big push" like so many others. Thank you for the interview.
Poison Idea was BEAST. I saw them probably 20 times in 80's and early 90's Back when they were an opening band. But i also saw then headline back in Pine Street Theatre days Ask him about Scotty
Totally rad. I need to go watch all the interviews I have missed. Good to see Jerry cleaned up, it warms the heart.

Feel The Darkness is one of my favorite albums. I had no idea that Jerry had some books out, totally going to get them soon.

Great guest! This and the show with Eugene from Oxbow were my favourites so far. I'm on the verge of becoming a patreon.
