Most underappreciated band ever. Damn. The feelings.
out of all the shitty music that came out of that specific phase of emo music with synths and autotune, this song stands out above everything as an absolute masterpiece. its this genre in its perfect form. when you actually read the lyrics and match them with the movements in the song, the whole thing plays out like a tragic opera. not to even mention how hard nabil went on the instrumental - some of my favourite riffs to this day are from this song. I'd even go so far as to say this is ISMFOF's bohemian rhapsody. i first discovered this song when i was like 15 or 16 and my taste has changed a lot since then. im 28 now and i still revisit this song once in a while and im still blown away every time.
definitely man, one of my favorite memories back then. I saw them live in FL when I was just out of high school i think in 09 and they were awesome the line up was them, we came as romans and couple other bands and let me tell you they were just as good live.
Have you heard the in studio live vsrsion? I think its better but I like parts of this song too. I wish the other version had little things here and there like this one then it'd be perfect

Absolutely love this song and I've always been a huge fan of ISMFOF, they've always done what they love to express themselves and don't care what anyone else thinks, but from doing that they kept from being sell outs. As for their new songs they're different for sure but hey who doesn't change sometimes? And who are we to judge if they try to step out of their comfort zone and go a different direction. It's always good to be well rounded and be able to explore. Keep rocking and always enjoy what you do no matter what it is, if you don't then change it

He was in a few American movies as well, Frankenstein, Rat Race, Fish Called Wanda, George of the Jungle, Pink Panther. He was also in the James Bond films. One role which I can't recall the film title, he was an AI in a car. Various voice overs for dreamworks movies and animation films. I quite liked him in Clockwise, though.

I always thought this section was describing a failed attempt at a quick and certain suicide for the main character.
He can’t live with the betrayal so he makes the girl watch as he kill’s himself. He drinks poison, hangs himself over the sea, sets himself on fire and tries to shoot himself in the head. He misses, breaks the wire he hanged himself with, puts out the fire when he falls in the water and vomits the poison, leaving him with no other option than a slow agonizing death, drowning with probably third degree burns over his entire body. “We’re dying slowly again” implying his first death was the realization his girlfriend was cheating on him.
He killed them both and then tries to kill himself with the upmost obscurity but all fails and he sinks into the ocean. He replays the video in his mind over and over again of him replaying the video over and over of him killing them 🤯
