I watched the Philadelphia game on the broadcast. After BRob fumbled the ball a second time, he was sitting on the bench with a towel on his head. He was obviously distraught. BRod never had a fumbling problem, and it looks like it seriously affected him mentally. Since that game, BRod looks to be running without his BRod strength and determination - he looks like he is running with a fear of fumbling again. My biggest hope is that he can forget the Philadelphia game and just run hard like he normally does.
I trust and appreciate Logan’s analysis. It’s always thoughtful, well articulated, and unemotional. Just the facts. Sunday was weird but we do have to consider how the first 45 minutes of the first game against Dallas looked very similar. Once is an accident. Twice is a trend. Like everyone else here, I’m hoping to see Jayden and the offense back in mid-season form in Tampa.
I agree man. Logan is that dude when it comes to breaking everything down. Definitely was a weird game. Can't wait to see how we do this weekend. Scary thing is we can possibly be seeing us in these positions for many years to come
It turns out, when the opposing team gets pressure on the QB, they can screw up the QB's timing. He just had an off half of football. No biggie. Dallas' d-line is pretty damned good. They underestimated Mariota.
In my opinion, and I have mentioned this before, if the coaches allow Jayden his game, he will be much better, he struggled in the three games when the coaches planned the game for him not to get injured, all they needed to do was rest him and play Mariota, and of course open your playbook, I really believe we have good coaches, and we could win with Mariota, as long as Jayden is healthy we gonna be in great shape, but I hope they're not gonna play him when he's injured. HTTR
I wonder if that hit on JD5 by Atlanta #31 at the goal line had lingering effects ? He was slow getting up and in the post game press conference he said he was really tired . I hope he's 100 %.
Maybe this is just blind optimism but I’m not reading too much into the poor half by Jayden. He’s proven time and time again he can play at an elite level, just had an off day… it happens.
Jayden just had an off game and he’ll be fine. In the meanwhile, can we just put some respect on Mariota’s name. Dude has been the constant professional all season long and has played a key role to Jayden’s development his rookie year. Hope this guy gets another shot at a starting gig for another team next year, but I’ll be more than okay if he decides to stay in Washington as a backup.
Jayden struggled for sure he's a rookie it's likely to happen from.time to time. Y'all have been super critical.of him even in games he played the hero. But y'all are spot on here. I think there is something different that happens when Dallas defense sees Jayden out I feel like they eased up some and Mariota pulled a Jayden. I think it's sort of surprised me how capable Mariota is as a QB. He might be the best back up in the league particularly running Kliffs offense. Mariota looked fresher and athletic. Jayden looked like a fighter in Rd 8 of a title fight lol
12:15 That is in fact a consideration when you have a Left handed Passer. On longer passes, the ball will arc and spin in the opposite direction. More often it will turn into the field instead of off of it.
JD was probably a little spent from all those last second heroics Might not be a bad idea to use both of them in this playoff game Its win or go home call a few plays for Mariota Jayden was right out there cheering Marcus on
Exactly. Last thing we need is for JD to get overwhelmed and go into a fog. Let that man rest. Not going to lie lately I’ve been feeling like there is too much on his shoulders. How reassuring it must have been for him to see the backup come in and say, “rest up JD, I got it from here”. Must have been physically and mentally relieving.
There's something weird that we don't know - and maybe never will about that whole awful Jayden to dazzling Mariota business. My gut is telling me that coach is not coming up with the whole story on this one. Anyhow - move on.
Daniel's played tuff against Atl took a lot of hits on runs and a sack or took running back hits to gain max yards he was banged up pregame got worse with the sacks 1st half in Dallas body sore as hell 1st pro season major hits finishing runs especially 2nd half falcons...
Now it makes sense. Hoffman got his football knowledge from playing Madden. You can tell who played the game vs who only watches & reads about the game. .. or playing f’n video games 😂😂
@ relax. You must play madden with him…I never said he wasn’t a good analyst, I said he looks at the game through the lens of a spectator. It’s a true statement.

Yeah, could've aggravated that rib injury from earlier in the season. Did not play well for a few games after that. I'm wondering the same.
Really game 17 he not 100% after that Atlanta game 16 carries 127 finshing the runs for needed yards no he not 100%....

There are just days on the field where things are just off. I think he pulled JD to save him mentally as well as physically. Risk/reward decision.
I've always heard that football is a game of inches. I learn so much about the game when Logan breaks things down.
spot on analysis Logan (and Craig)!

but only north of the equator
@@kuduazpper Ah yes, coriolis force applies as well.
Jayde is not use to playing this many games think he might be tired

The offenses are not protecting him. That was the whole scenario

Just like with Howell and Brissett this can only mean that Mariota is better than Jayden.....🙄
Give the kid a break. It's not like he does that on a daily basis.
Dont be a snow flake
Making too much out of it.
JD will be just fine in Tampa.
Sometimes, you people are a flip flippers shame of you.
Are you drunk on the internet again?
Why don’t let Luke throw that trick play, isn’t he a former quarterback, the throw should have been an easier catch.
The ball was fine it hit the professional wide receiver in the hands wide open and he drop it don’t make excuse for him

Logan is an awesome analyst, would have anyone looking like that
