Another voice-over hiddlesworth video. I tried to use as many recent interviews as possible. So, basically it's a fresh look at hiddlesworth.

Tom is two years older than Chris. I think his affection is the older brotherly affection for Chris and it's really sweet :)

Jokes aside this is one of the best brotherly friendships out there in the industry, right alongside Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth who become kids every time they are together.
Makes you realise Chris Hemsworth is really one hell of guy with so much Charisma (like Tom described) to being able to forge such strong and meaningful friendships with his co-stars in an industry like this one.
He seems like a guy who is super easy to be good friends with.

I love how Tom always hands out affection so freely, both verbally and physically. He‘s not ashamed about it at all. Chris isn’t the guy of many words but he clearly adores him just as much. Love the “he‘s the fourth Hemsworth“. They played brothers and truly became them.

I'm like 100% sure that at some point in their relationship these two were romantically involved with eachother. And to be honest it's actually painful and poignant to watch how head over heel in love Tom still was with Chris, and how most of the time Chris just felt embarrassed and awkward and just tried to ward off Tom's PDAs and strictly keep it in a brotherly affection box. Because that's something that is acceptable, even it's a good hype for their movies. I'm not saying he didn't feel the same, but it just so obvious he wanted to cut it down in the public to bromance. After all, he has a wife and children to think about. But I just really wouldn't want to be in his vife's shoes, because no matter what Chris wants us to believe, I dont think his vife coulod ever compete with the bond and love these two men feel- felt for eachother.
But what it was the other way, that Tom was the one who took a step back from their relationship. This might sound weird, but sometimes on the Ragnarok behind the scenes videos Chris seems frustrated when he is close to Tom, I maybe see what I want to see... but I love these two sooooo much...
You might be right, but I suppose it's one of the things we'll never know. I haven't watched the vids you mentioned, but I still believe if it was Tom who cut it off, it might have been due to Chris's attitude. I did watch some of their interviews, and if you really look into them you realize that Chris might have a strong urge to fit in the expectations and circumstances around him. he is not or dare not be different,. He usually waits and reacts after observing what his pals reactions are to questions. And in most of their interviews with Tom, it was always Tom who led the interviews or guided Chris through or out when he realized he was struggling. And isn't it sweet or smtg you do for somebody you really know and care abou or love?

to be honest, i don't think they were ever romantically involved with one another. these days, two people can't be seen with eachother without being shipped or tons of theories coming out about them. i genuinely just see these two who immediately hit it off and became such best friends that they're able to joke about shit like this, and know that at the end of the day they're practically brothers. hemsworth said it himself - tom is pretty much a hemsworth himself, which that to me just radiates brotherly-love. they're cute with one another - but not the 'dating' kind of cute, just a cute where you can giggle like a fool and say 'aww, look how close they've gotten so quickly.' at the end of the day, let's just appreciate that these two share so many characteristics and were able to create this beautifully adorable platonic brotherly relationship.
