This car is the definition of lift off oversteer - it has very unique handling characteristics. You can see this at 0:30. When you let off the gas at the limit, the car will start to oversteer. When you get on the gas again, the car will stabilize. You can use this to make the car turn in better at corner entry or even mid-corner. It's an interesting fun mechanic, but if you let off the gas for too long, you will probably crash. The car doesn't like chaotic left / right countersteering when trying to get it out of a large slip angle. That's why the pauses in power delivery need to be short.
@@Vic-E. The 993 is the definition of a GOOD lift of oversteer which you can work with and use it to your advantage to make the car turn better. If I wanted to kill myself, I would lift-off in older 911s mid-corner that are much less planted and less predictable.
@@JAnx01 i'd rather use it at my advantage in an older car (at slower speed of course) than in a much more stable 993 whose the entire all-new rear susp was designed to FIGHT lift-off oversteer...
If I had to choose between a new Porsche 992 Turbo and 993 Turbo, I would screamingly choose the 993. Not because it's faster (it's not) but because it looks so amazingly cool.
I saw no overseer whatsoever. Maybe he went aggressive with anti roll bars. But other things have been tweaked. It looks lower than stock. His tire choice seems perfectly matched 2 his suspension.

He tweaked the suspension in his. Its lowered, got more anti roll bar and the tires look like a semi slick..
