Dear Sir (Col Mehrotra) You are absolutely right when you said the candidate who comes for interviews are tired... I had the same issue when I appeared every time for SSB interviews from 1996 TO 1999, incoherent at times. now I make sure when I appear for an interview or discussion - in civilian life, I am in a good mind frame and properly rested. This has helped me succeeding most of the time. Each and every time I do things I always remember the reason for my failures during those days... and the good thing is that the lessons learned 22 years ago are still relevant.

Always I use to think of this question which u asked in this interview- "What is your (IO) expectations from a serving soldier when he comes for an interview?" As per Col Pankaj Mehrotra, Indian Army soldiers have the least freedom of expression compared to the other two Navy and Airforce. In fact, they don't get any time for their self-development. This is a really heartbreaking but bitter TRUTH of the Indian Army.
Of course sir bitter reality of indian army of which the civil public is unaware .

The stay and session were wonderful. All the students with me were screened in. The results were wonderful. I was there for my recent interview during the covid pandemic. I would recommend that every candidate must go to ssb dormitory. Sir was really supportive. He verified all our certificates and guided us. Boon for all the aspirants. The credit for my success in SSB goes to sir

Omg Wow ... Colonel sir has included everything so naturally. It seems that SSB is so easy and we can make it very easily....I live in Allahabad and my home is just 4 km away from the SSB centre but I think when my SSB will comes to Allahabad board then definitely I would like to go to their dormitory only for that one hour counseling....
Candidates never get SSB at their home towns.

@@ResinDhaRa actually generally they don't.. and if you get it by mistake they will ask you to change your centre and it will be mentioned in the Call-up.

Can you make a video..or dressing sense..that would be expected from a candidate at SSB. I know it's not that much important, but for the students from rural or suburban background , that formal dress code is not a thing to get adopted so early with. Please give some tips or make a video on..you have a very good sense of dressing.

On last answer, I think that's why Kalam sir didn't qualify SSB coz he was a born scientists, and see what he achieved. Some are born for Armed forces.

There is some restrictions in army on a soldier's that's doesn't use your mind only follow the orders 😜. who are accept it not becoming the officer.But who are also use own mind with follow the orders they have capability to become an officer . Ye Shubham ne apne SSB mein jo galtiya ki ab tak wohi sab ke sawal puchta rehta hai sare Assessor se dusro ka naam lagake. He just wants answers for the mistakes he did in his SSB so that he can prepare & be careful in his next SSB.
Guess what , those are the same mistakes we do. Whatever you said , the assessors know but still they helping because thousands will watch them.
