I'm of the same opinion
Tried to work with a few solos. Had both good and bad experiences. Offered to half the bounty with them and let them revive themself just for them to blast me. The feels man.

I played in a duo recently snd we got absolutely mauled by two solos at the extraction point. It was really confusing because we thought we were fighting a duo with necro.

Buffing specter slug headshot range would be an interesting way to get people to use it over the slate

Imo it's the way to go, make it slug specialized because nobody plays it anymore
Y'all don't even realize that the specter headshot range is higher than slate. It's 318 hunt dollars to run and headshots at 25.3m, meanwhile slate headshots at 20.6m. I tested it. Specter with slugs is better than slate overall, but without slugs slate is better because of how consistent it is.
The specter DOES have a higher headshot range lmao its 25m vs slates 20m

Wish they buffed slugs, as in witj the ammo changes why do I have to deal with a smaller ammo pool and shitty resupply too on a limited short range option.
Meanwhile spitzer doesn't get reduced ammo reserve and is free to terrorize people from so much further away with no personal danger.

Kinda like how I'll sometimes use a Sparks, Martini or Springfield as a shotgun when in close quarters. One shot and one melee usually does it, unless they already lost some health.

One of my loadout specialty's is the Romero and the Sparks Pistol, the name of the loadout ingame is "Hit your shots please" the duality of 2 single fire weapons forces me to hit my shots or die trying, hit some insane 1v3s with the sparks pistol already and even a collat or two.
I enjoy playing a Winfield together with a Bow and Barbed Wire ammo. Pretty funny to see them crawling threw the wire before I destroy them with levering
In my opinion the most unexpected loadout to fight against is explosive crossbow + a rifle or any bleed ammo pistol. Turns hunters into olympic level sprinters 😁

My favourite "off-meta" loadout/playstyle right now is picking two caldwells conversion with fanning and FMJ and trying to snipe people on midrange with it.
I run solo only. Fav thing is blasting 80s dance music and storming lairs with saber only.
I absolutely love playing against the norm in hunt, even if it does keep me in low elo. There's just something super satisfying about going in with nothing but big dynamite bundles, solo res, and no guns brought in. Lighting up a big dynamite bundle and running as close as i can to take them down with me. Or roleplaying a DnD party with friends. There's just something very fun about doing dumb stuff and somehow winning despite others playing meta
ive always liked using vetterli silencer and stay super long range so they just never have any idea where they are being shot from you get a lot of soft headshots but its funny how people freak out
My favorite unusual strategy is decoys. Not blank fire decoys, just regular decoys. They're incredibly effective and most people don't even seem to remember that they exist
I always carry decoy fuses and x3 waxed dynamite stick for maximum mind game fuckery
my unusual loadout is alamo with starshell and sparks pistol.
sparks pistol poison Uppercut explosion ammo with fanning. they never expect it. tag them with sparks piston and fan explo. its so fun.

if you take winfield vandal deadeye, steady aim and steady hand both work and you can get a solid headclicker.
people don't really expect you to have a shotgun either, since vandal is fairly uncommon.
Wouldn't they be redundant? Steady hand and aim that is.

There are a lot of myths surrounding shotguns in hunt. Few people are aware that the C&K and standard Spectre (not bayonet) have comparable shot spread and range to the Romero with an average kill range that is a mere 1-2 meters less with standard buckshot
I like to rock two medium revolvers and just be a two tap wonder at an uncomfortable range for everything that everyone else is using. Carbines kill me but it's not dissimilar from the ideal play range of this video. Slap on fanning and I feel good in any situation.

so next you will play Marksman Lemat with slug? It has definitely become my favorite weapon because nothing is as satisfying as shooting people away around 4m, with a shotgun, by using a marksman scope xD

I actually really enjoy using the LeMat Mark II carbine with slugs and poison hand crossbow or silenced nagant revolver with poison and fanning as my secondaries,

Infernal pact trait you can heal while burning and it only takes a small amount of your bar.
how do you jump/bhop silently?
Trait Lightfoot costs 6 points I think. And something like 2 jumps are silent then your character makes noise when jumping but vaulting and climbing ladders are quieter
