This is so fucking _perfect_ This amv pretty much sums up the beauty that is Violet Evergarden!! The scene selection, the editing, the feels; just perfect! Yes, it might be simple, but it's powerful. You wouldn't be able to conway this much emotion with FX or fancy effects, the editing fitted perfectly! This is so far the most cinematic looking entry for the MDS contest I have ever seen, which is pretty bold considering it relies so much on the scene selection in order for everything to flow rather than fancy transitions, zooms and colorful effects. I love this AMV so much tbh, watching it made it feel like time itself stopped -that sounds so cheesy I'm sorry- not kidding! My eyes tend to be all over the place when watching long amvs, but you had my full attention the whole time! Violet Evergarden is beauty and so is this amv! *rolls off to cry over feels*

I cried near the end of the video , all of these parallels you made and how you are able to tell a story only with clips , not even effects or typography like wow it's absolutely amazing I like watching Fx videos , not saying I don't but the kind of video like this one you edited are just so much more powerful , you give a sense to your video , not puting random effects or clips that don't have any links together ; you're actually teeling a story and I love how you use your clips , emotional videos are always the most beautiful thing to watch. The begining was genious. You're introducing us the theme of your video with a quote from Violet and it's perfect because it's a question that your whole video will answer to , I also adore how you explain and show different ways of loving someone through the episodes and 1:26 is my favorite part. When you add "War of hearts" in typography that gives a kind of conclusion to all Violet's adventures she lived and its a transition to the second part of the video , 1:28 broke my heart , it's like now she can finally beging to understand what love is for her own situation and you showed it perfectly by using clips from her and Gilbert Also 2:23 got me SO EMOTIONAL , it was the kinda like the conclusion of your video and seeing all of these clips edited so perfectly made my heart cried so much aahhedfjkl It's so soft and clean , that changes from things I see around there , I love this so so much. well for me personally it was^^
that being said it's probably dependend on your personal taste, I enjoyed it a lot and it actually made me cry twice so... it was really enjoyable for me^^
